I adore Scrivener, and have used the mobile app since it came out & desktop versions for over a decade. However the app has been faulty now for around a year, with the devs aware of the faults (via the forums). I HATE having to give it a negative review because when the app works it is 5/5, but as it is now, the ONLY thing you can do in the app is arrange your files and type without formatting. Any attempts to format text or open any sort of options/overlays/etc crashes the app. Normally I would recommend Scrivener without hesitation, but the price of the app in the store vs the functionalit

The tutorial, which goes for 10+ minutes, forces you to click the buttons they select for you, and you are unable to click anything except the pre-determined moves. EXCEPTIONALLY boring, I got 10 minutes into this bs and then, realising it wasn’t even done, immediately uninstalled the app. If I wanted to spend more than 3 minutes watching pre-determined actions without being able to select anything myself, I’d watch a movie, not download a game.

The advertisements for this game heavily focuses on the math related part of this game, as do most of the screenshots within the app store. This part of the game, however, barely shows up. It is a shame as that part of the game is very unique! But then when you actually play, 90% of the gameplay is just another boring cut and paste bejewelled rip-off. +2 stars because it is an okay game that actually runs and works… -3 for the misleading ads and their heavy focus on gameplay that is barely there.

The app is completely unusable because it doesn’t let you sign in. Not incorrect password or anything, I tested to double check and it tells you if you’re typing the wrong password. It’s just not holding the login info once you get it right and continues to prompt you to login. *shrugs* the site itself is great on desktop, but the app just doesn’t work.
