After spending thousands of dollars on a grill, where the number 1 or 2 differentiator is pellet controller and mobile functionality, MAK lets their mobile site “crash,” can’t recover, and rolls out a barely functional mobile app with all the distinctive controller integration removed. Buy the grill you want for any number of other reasons, and a $30 WiFi thermometer. MAK has seriously broken trust with their customer base, and barely acknowledges it. Buyer beware.
