I subscribed to the live tracking service so that family could track me during a recent obstacle race but when I tried to start the tracker on my Apple Watch series 6 (gps+cellular), it always would say “can’t reach iPhone”. It only works if my phone is with me. The entire reason why hi got the watch and this app what is so that I would not have to drag my phone along with me having it bounce around in my pocket and risk damaging it. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the watch app if you
