I recently dropped a small fortune on Ubiquiti’s Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and connectivity gear, and for the most part, I was happy with it—until I tried installing their video doorbell. The video quality was great, but as a security product, it was a letdown. When someone rings the bell, they can’t hear us when we respond. Ubiquiti’s support is limited to chat or a chatbot, and their “solution” was to reset the device, ensure the protective film was removed (obviously), and verify the firmware was updated.
