Google Drive on iPad is just not up to standard. It works, but only for very basic, occasional use. If you’re hoping it can replace the browser version, it can’t. Not even close. Some of this is down to iPadOS itself. The file system is limited, apps are sandboxed, and multitasking still isn’t great compared to a proper computer.
