This app is unique in the lightning app area. I like the chart layout showing colored indicators of threat of lighting in set distance. What will set this app apart from other would be to have a lightning counter on each distance demarcation. Add in the trend rate (increasing / decreasing) would be amazing to see as this will allow a person to determine threat levels at each distance level indicated on the Y axis.

When description says limited to few functions, they were not kidding. Only function I could find was local forecast of which I can get for free anywhere. Nothing on the map displayed in the USA. No temperature, no radar, no clouds, nothing. I am using latest generation iPad along with latest iOS version. Do note, European models are available along with other weather related models FOR FREE in high resolution display on other apps and websites without restrictions.

Running the app through it’s paces and thus far, love what what I see. Only thing missing and not a real big deal is satellite overlay. I already have a high resolution satellite image app that would be hard to replicate because it’s strictly very high resolution that takes high bandwidth that most people wouldn’t be interested in the detail it gives. My only hope is I NEVER SEE full page ads......
