UPDATE: There’s another set of controls (on-screen) that can be toggled on in the Settings menu. MUCH better! The location of the “jump down” button is odd (as it’s above the other controls, which isn’t intuitive), and I still have trouble hitting attack vs. jump sometimes, but it’s much improved, so I’m upgrading to 4 stars. The game is incredibly and beautifully rendered, and the story is fun. The levels are interesting and well-designed. Too bad the controllers (at least, on iPad) are the worst I’ve ever used.
