My host canceled close to my trip without any real explanation, only saying “sorry I cannot be your host,” and then continued listing the same Airbnb while also having other properties in the same area available for the same dates. After the cancellation, I was also unable to continue any dialogue with the host, which made the situation even more frustrating.
