With the recent update as of Nov2022 now all in game currency (hearts and stars) you were able to earn has been reduced by half at a minimum. Boats used to all have the same base speed, now they have been made extremely slow with a new currency added that you can pay real money for to make them as good as the boats used to be. Boats can no longer be purchased with stars, but now cards as well (the same new currency you use to upgrade boats.) They basically went and turned racing which was more or less about finding the best path to hit speed up orbs and avoid whirlpools/icebergs into a “pay us
