What’s New Version 4.40
This update improves content loading and app responsiveness, adds support for membership card validity where enabled, and improves chat configuration for supported deployments. It also fixes embedded video display, document visibility, Activity Feed refresh behavior, destination content display, and submitted report/application history.
Description
BALPA 2Way is the official member app of the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA).
It enables two-way communication between pilot members and their union. Using 2Way you will be able to communicate with BALPA more directly, openly and effectively on issues that matter to you.
The 2Way app allows pilots to submit working reports and information to BALPA at the touch of a button, while being kept up to date with the latest news, documents, events and information from their union. 2Way also features a handy emergency contact facility via phone or SMS designed to assist members in the event of an accident or incident.
Modules included within the app:
Activity Feed - All recent activity in one module
Emergency - Members can contact BALPA by telephone or SMS in the event of an emergency, and follow guidelines for aircrew in a step-by-step process.
Reports - Allows members to submit a variety of reports relating to their working environment, and receive direct feedback on reported issues.
CC Newsletters - The very latest company newsletters can be downloaded and read directly within the app in an online and offline environment.
BALPA News- all the latest information and communications from BALPA
Destinations - Database of Airport, Hotel and Transport information.
Surveys- feedback to you company council though simple, easy to fill in questionnaires
Contacts - Reps, Board and Staff contact details for union are listed in one place.
Knowledgebase- BALPA and company specific documents are available on the app
Other features are included within the app.
2Way is designed to help to bring the union closer to members and allow members to take a much more active and influential role in making sure BALPA is run 'for pilots, by pilots'.

- Emergency Module: We've revamped the emergency module, allowing for multiple checklists and customizable checklist types.
- Destinations Hotel Reviews: Admins can now specify whether check-in/out dates are required when users provide feedback on accommodations.
-Document Module: All documents are now downloaded to the device for offline viewing, improving accessibility. Users no longer need to download each document individually. Also possible now to manually download all documents in one go.
