We've made some improvements to the process for adding new pads in the app. We realised that if we want our community to contribute to Helipaddy, we need to make it as easy as possible to do so! In this version you'll see:
In light of the above, you'll notice:
- Less scrolling, and clearer labelled fields
- Improved clarity and range of facilities/warnings for pads
- (our favourite) the ability to save a part-entered pad as a draft, which you can pick back up on later!
- Offline pad additions are now supported

- Thumbnail images should be shown for all pads with photos
- Improved bluetooth keyboard support for iPad

Cold, yes. Sunny, also yes. As we're (gradually) getting closer to more consistent flying weather, this build brings a wealth of smaller changes. - Notification centre now shows the pad image if we have it
- You may now leave ratings and reviews to your Private Pads
- Private Pads can now be added by tapping and holding the screen
- Aerodromes are now included within the default filter selection
- Reworded the ‘+ New Pad’ button
- Small adjustments to wording throughout the app

- Improved zoom levels when searching for a Town, City or Post Code
- Improvements to the Pad View interface
- Improved our Google Places API integration, which should have removed all of the irrelevant pad photo suggestions

- We've improved our 'Fly Here' button which allows you to send a Pad/Waypoint directly to your navigation app.
- The 'Fly Here' button that you'll see on any Pad View now shows your choice of navigation app (picked from Settings).

- We've released a lot of new features, many of which it seems are not fully understood, so we've put together Announcements. Designed to explain new features and keep you up-to-date within the app, we hope this will guide you into making the most of Helipaddy!
Search
- We've removed some annoying messaging and limitations within Search for our free users.

- We've made HUGE improvements to how the filtering of pads works, and we think we've really nailed it this time.
- Advanced filter criteria now helps you to cut right to the creme de la creme, for example, Top Rated, Owner Approved, Most Comments etc. We're really chuffed with this, and hope you will be, too!
Letting you know!
- Notifications: We’ve added the notification centre, which we’ll use to keep you up-to-date and engaged.
- Silent Updates: Any changes made to pads will be reflected instantly in the app - no refreshing required
