4.8.3 is a bug fix only release, fixing a small number of bugs. Tapping on entries in the Revisions Tab in structured documents will now update the TOC to match the content panel. Force Install will not be applied to documents assigned with an Optional Permission. Users migrating from 4.7 to 4.8 will no longer be shown the Library Restore options if there are orphaned child documents present in the database of 4.7.

Bug fix to prevent a situation that could cause the app to need its profile restoring

Resolves Search related issues: When changing tabs to a document with Search results, the restored location can be incorrect. When searching in groups, the selected group dropdown can either be blank or show a previous group location When selecting to search for a selected piece of text using the popup context menu, it was possible for the content to be dimmed whilst the flyout was pinned. Reduced volume of telemetry captured at runtime to essential metrics.

4.8 Introduces new tabs view, split screen support as well as a visual history pop up to allow you to select where in your history to navigate to. See the in app release notes for full details.

4.7.1 contains additional error detection and logging for a scenario preventing the app from migrating to 4.7.0 from 4.6.x in very specific instances where the data format of Expired documents was not correct. This affected only a small subset of users.

Addresses behavioural issue observed in iOS 16.4 on backgrounding the application. Also address an issue where delta updates are not updating reference data correctly when updated

If multiple revisions of a document are published, the Mobile Viewer will now respect a metadata property in the underlying source data that specifies whether a cross-reference should load a specific revision of that document.

Performance of the app with large numbers of annotations (>3000) has been addressed. An edge case that prevented the deletion of documents has been fixed. Logging changes have been made to aid support of users that are unable to email logs.

4.6 Bug fix. Includes resolution of loading CrewNet notices with no expiry date, search results are now ordered based upon the documents position in library.

The personal annotations feature has been significantly upgraded in the following ways: • Annotations Formatting – It will now be possible to create rich text annotations using the following formatting • Annotations Styling – In addition to the default style categories, you can now create your own style by choosing between a combination of formatting options: Annotations can be shared as follows: • Sharing to a predefined audience – An audience manager in Publishing Hub will allow you to create and manage audiences. End users’ will then be able to choose which audience to share it with. • Sharing via email links Force Install: Publishing Hub and Mobile Viewer Improved Active Tab display Attribute Filtering of the Library Other changes, • The main library filter now accepts Group titles and document codes. • After selecting a Group Link, the destination Group will flash and pulse briefly to indicate which group has been opened. • Library Tags that have been selected can be unapplied by tapping on the Tag lozenge at the top of the Left-Hand Panel without having to open the Tag Manager. This also applies to Annotation Tags. • For partners that requested it, the ‘Include documents with no tags’ setting will now be turned off by default. Issues addressed The following issues present in v4.5 have been fixed: • Switching to Dark Mode resulted in initial residual dark patches. • A crash that could occur when profile switching via a hyperlink. • A crash could occur after cancelling a profile creation. • The first ever authentication could stall and require the app to be restarted. • Unable to download large files >2 GB. • The Updates button intermittently failed to recover after reconnecting to a network. • Poor performance when trying to use the Tag filter with a large number (>50) of Tags. • The underlying cause responsible for the Requested Document Cannot be Opened error. • The underlying cause preventing a document from being deleted from the Updates Page. • Documents not appearing in Update or Installed document Page • An issue whereby the app would incorrectly remove an installed version of a document from the visible library has been fixed Known Issues in v4.6 • Updating the library is quicker if you remain on the Updates page. Running updates in the background while still viewing documents will be slower (due to the updates being made to the library as they are installed). • The Text size sliders in the Settings can cause the application to crash. This is more noticeable on older devices. • If the number of breadcrumb entries exceeds the available screen width, the deepest breadcrumb is not always scrolled into view.

Addresses an issue where a large number of metadata changes to the library can cause app to hang for a longer period of time.

Fixed the debug build configuration issue.

Addresses an issue where Forms that are submitted could be lost when a connection issue occurs

An issue whereby the app would forget the Tag selection a user had made when the app was closed and relaunched has been resolved. The app will now correctly remember and apply your previous tag selections.

The app has been rebuilt with Xcode 12 to ensure compatibility with iOS 15. A UserNet Url update with product license check.

Resolves issue that prevented DocuNet Viewer from running on iOS 10

V4.5 of the DocuNet Mobile Viewer supersedes v4.4.2. A review of the UI has streamlined the user experience and app navigation by grouping related functions. Changes include the migration of the Tag Selector to the main Library Filter and the Updates Page being laid out in a single panel. Download speed of Updates has also been increased. A number of new Settings have been added, Deep Linking to Groups supported, and some small improvements to Search made

Addresses a failure case in v4.x, whereby documents could not be deleted from the app.

New features added PDF Swiping in Portrait and Landscape On the iPad you can now swipe right in portrait mode or with the left panel unpinned to go to the previous page in PDF documents. To pull out the left panel, you have to start your swipe from the left edge of the screen. Bugs Fixed • The document tab bar failed to display the correct document name. • Marking documents as Favourites not functioning correctly. • The Read and Sign filter icon was shown with 0 value. • Tapping the book icon caused the library filter to be incorrectly hidden. • Document position was changing when switching between tabs after performing a search. • Read and Sign filter was failing to clear after signing a document. • Crash after changing annotation filter. • Incorrect behaviour when selecting breadcrumbs after performing a search. • Document open blue bar not clearing after opening the document. • Incorrect behaviour in selecting search results. • Search result location changes on repeated selection. • Context menus not resizing when font size is changed on iOS. • The 'Close Tab' icon is visible when only one tab is opened. • Tab pop-up enabled when a single tab is opened. • Annotation list goes blank until an update check is performed. • Reset Crewnet functionality now provides contextual feedback.

The DocuNet Mobile Viewer is being updated to Version 4.4. This will include the Microsoft workaround to the known issue of the app crashing when deployed as B2B via MDM on iOS 14.2, previously described in communications sent in November and December. This will allow you to update to iOS 14.2 and 14.3 on affected devices and run DocuNet. Apple have now committed to implementing their fix in iOS 14.4. 4.4 will also contain a small number of UI changes to several core app features, which we believe will simplify and enhance app navigation. The DocuNet Mobile Viewer has been updated with a combination of new features and bug fixes. Among the new features is the option to customise the group and tab size to your preference and the addition of swipe gestures to open new tabs and delete annotations. Thank you to all who took the time to patiently report their issues. Release notes will also be included in-app, including a Hints and Tips section, addressing some of the key areas where the app behaviour has changed from the former iOS app. Bug Fixes Search panel reloads after checking for updates, causing search result to be reselected and content to refresh. Updates page sometimes blank, or not refreshing properly. Some issues with deep linking. Downloading issues on slow connections. We have made some changes to the download code and hopefully these issues are improved now. Truncated audience values in the filter popup if the base iPad text size was larger than default Read and sign acknowledgement not being immediately handled if offline. Various v3.5 upgrade issues resolved. Document library list sometimes continuously scrolls to the currently selected document. Layers misbehaving causing content to jump or scroll to the wrong place on selecting search results etc. Audience dropdown box sometimes empty. App freezes on iOS 9/10 fixed. iOS 9/10 left panel layout issues resolved. Performance improvements with many thousands of annotations.
