Basket: Simple Grocery List

Basket is a soft, friendly shopping list that gets out of your way. Add items with a tap and everything else looks after itself. As you type, your own shopping history and a huge built-in food dictionary suggest what you mean before you have finished typing, so most of your list is one tap away. Check something off and it pops with a little spark, then settles into a faded "Got it" section instead of just vanishing, so you can see everything you have picked up without losing your place. That section tidies itself away after an hour, or clear it yourself whenever you like. Need an amount? Tap any item to open a smart quantity stepper. Basket guesses whether you mean millilitres, grams, or a plain count based on what you are buying, and you can switch units freely or type an exact number straight onto the keyboard. Every item gets a small emoji of its own, chosen from a curated table of thousands of foods and household goods, with an on-device fallback for anything unusual. It is a small touch, but it makes scanning your list at a glance much easier. Basket works entirely on your device. There is no account, no login, and nothing is ever sent anywhere.
