• Little things that help. Notifications now show your exact unread count, and a quick "how it works" video is one tap away on the scan screen.
We also tuned performance and fixed bugs across the app, so screens load faster and balances always add up.

Adding friends just got easier — and now you'll always know when you're square.
• Add from Contacts — pull a friend straight from your phone's contacts when searching, or when adding someone to a trip. Their name and number fill in for you.
• Settle-up alerts — get notified the moment a friend records a payment with you, and see exactly which way it went.
• Payments in your activity — settlements now show up in Recent Activity and your timeline, with a clear "You paid Alex" / "Alex paid you."
• More privacy — friends' phone numbers and email addresses are now hidden.
• Fixes & polish — reliable friend search for international numbers, plus smoother contact-picking and keyboard behavior.
