Description

Seven Tells is a private daily check-in for people in recovery, managing anxiety, or simply trying to stay steady day to day. It is built around the Personal Craziness Index (PCI), a self-monitoring method described by Dr. Patrick Carnes for catching the moment life starts drifting toward a slip or relapse. You choose seven personal warning signs, the small behaviors that tend to show up before things get hard. Skipped meals. Short sleep. Pulling away from the people who matter. Each day you check the ones that came up. Your score runs from 0 to 7, and lower is calmer. Over a few weeks the trend surfaces patterns that are easy to miss day to day, so you can act early instead of in a crisis. Whether you are working through addiction, anxiety, or sobriety, or simply trying to stay steady, Seven Tells gives you a quiet place to track how you are actually doing. Private by design - Your data stays on your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. - No analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. - Sensitive notes are encrypted on the device. - iCloud sync is optional and off by default. When you turn it on, your data moves through your own private iCloud, where the developer cannot see it. - An optional passcode and Face ID lock keep your check-ins for your eyes only. What you can do - Pick and edit your seven indicators, grouped by area of life. - Check in each day and see your 0 to 7 score next to your own gut read on the day. - Write a short note, or a longer entry in the journal. - Watch your trend over a week, month, quarter, year, or all time. - Log life events that affect your recovery and see them alongside your scores. - Set up to two gentle daily reminders. - Keep your crisis contacts one tap away for the moments you need them. - Export your history as CSV, JSON, Markdown, or PDF to share with a sponsor or therapist. Seven Tells is a self-awareness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or your local emergency line.
