Play On Con: a companion app Play On Con is a tabletop and gaming convention held each year at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana, Alabama — four days of theater, RPGs, board games, video games, parties, and the outdoors. This app is your pocket-sized guide to the weekend. Designed offline-first. The schedule and venue map work without a network connection, so you're covered in the cabins, the Lodge, and anywhere on the property where signal gets thin. WHAT'S IN THE APP • Full schedule, all four days — every session across every venue, opening to the current time slot so you always land on what's on now. • My Schedule — save the sessions you don't want to miss. • Reminders — local notifications before any saved session, at start time or a custom number of minutes ahead. No account, no push server. • Venue map with "you are here" — color-coded pins for Stages, Gaming, Parties, Outdoors, and Stay & Eat. Tap any pin for what's happening there. Location is opt-in. • Show on map — jump straight from any session to its venue pin. • Session tags — quick badges for Ages 21+, PG-13, Apprentice Track, Auditioned/Casted, Sensory Friendly, and Sign-up at Open Gaming. • Discord and sync status — quick link to the community and a clear last-synced indicator.
