PROTOCOL — a new mode built around two alternating objectives that change the game mid-run. DAEMON SET: a numbered chain of daemons spawns across the grid. Tap them in order — wrong order is a miss, and the set stays until you crack it. Complete the full sequence for a one-shot ×4 on your next decode; finish it during a Fever chain and that Fever runs four times as long. Sets get longer and appear faster as your score climbs. DMZ PURGE: a hostile intrusion zone lights up in red. Every second without action, the overrun creeps — filling cells until the grid is gone. Clear every intrusion in the zone to purge it and claim a RAM bonus. The clock doesn't pause while you work. The two objectives alternate throughout the run, layered over the normal daemon stream, with a ramp that tightens the windows as your score grows. CODEX: a scannable in-game manual, always one tap away from the menu or the pause screen. It covers all five node types, the three power-ups, how RAM / Fever / streaks / grid growth work, what every Cyberdeck upgrade adds up to, and a summary of all four modes — so you never have to guess a rule mid-run. iPad: the game now fills your whole screen. Grid, HUD, menus, and all chrome screens scale to the full iPad canvas — no more phone-width column centered in the middle. Fixes: Game Center leaderboards now submit correctly in production; the Cyberdeck now shows your cumulative upgrade values ("+12s RAM buffer", "+3 mistakes absorbed") so you know exactly what you own; restart is now available from the pause menu without quitting; new players land directly on the menu with 150 starter CR and a Campaign pointer instead of a forced tutorial.

GRID_BREAKER is a fast, neon reflex game. Jack into the grid, decode the daemons before they vanish, dodge the firewalls, and chain combos into Fever as the pace climbs. Just thumbs. Pure reaction. No filler. HOW IT PLAYS • Tap glowing daemons to decode them and refill your RAM clock. • Never tap a red firewall — let it expire. • Crack armored shells, grab gold data caches, chase hopping worms. • Chain clean hits to trigger FEVER: hazards clear and your score doubles. • Grab power-ups — Freeze, Overclock, Purge — for a burst of control. • Hold a clean streak to climb a rising score multiplier. FOUR MODES • ENDLESS — survive as long as your reflexes hold and chase the high score. • CAMPAIGN — 10 hand-tuned data cores, each teaching one new mechanic, ramping to a real finale. • FLOW — a calm, no-fail mode to just tap and unwind. • DAILY HACK — one shared board per day; everyone races the same seed. PROGRESS & STYLE • Earn Credits every run and spend them in the CYBERDECK on permanent upgrades — more RAM, faster decoding, a failsafe shield, longer Fever, bigger payouts. • Unlock COSMETICS — neon palettes that recolor the whole game and tap-trail styles that follow your finger.
