What’s New Version 1.1

Polish and small fixes across the clock faces.

Description

Ambient Time turns any screen into a quiet, beautiful clock. Thirty faces, each its own way of telling time. A few of them: • Word Clock: the time spelled out in words, in nine languages plus IPA phonetic transcription. • Dial: a clean analog face, with twelve languages plus IPA for the numerals. • Ransom: cut-and-paste ransom-note letters that reshuffle on the minute. • Binary: hours, minutes, and seconds as glowing binary columns. • Year: how far through the year you are, down to the decimal. • ASCII World Clock: a text-art globe with the hour around the world. • Mandaza: a generative face driven by the same engine as the Mandaza app, never quite the same twice. And two dozen more: an abacus, an hourglass, a water clock, a departure-board transit clock, a pendulum, a French Republican calendar, hex and thermal and moiré faces, and others to find. Tap to cycle nine color themes: the original palettes from the web clocks at dr.eamer.dev/clocks. Swipe on iPhone and iPad, or use the remote on Apple TV, to move between faces. Built natively in SwiftUI for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. No account, no tracking, no network calls. Just the time, the way you want to see it. Made by Luke Steuber.

The catalog grew, and there's a new way to browse it. NEW • More than forty clock faces, organized into eight families: Dials, Words, Digital, Boards, ASCII, Sky, Weather, and Generative. • The app now opens to a browsable grid of live faces. Tap any tile to fill the screen, and return to the grid any time. • Weather & Environment faces: local temperature, rain, wind, cloud, humidity, pressure, UV, air quality, and tide. • Sky & Astronomy faces: moon phase, the analemma, planetary hours, a cosmic astrolabe, and the year's progress. • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, one per family, configurable to your favorite face. • Full Apple TV support: browse and switch faces with the remote. IMPROVED • Per-face settings for hour format, time zone, language, and color palette. • Word Clock now offers IPA phonetic transcription alongside its languages. • A gentle ambient mode that drifts, dims, and keeps the screen awake for always-on display. Made by Luke Steuber. Thanks for watching the time go by.
