Buy-Bye No More Waste

How many of the things you bought have you actually finished? Buy-Bye is an inventory app for everything you've bought and forgotten. It's not just an expiration reminder — it'll roast you, comfort you, or coolly report the numbers, depending on which of four voices you choose to live with. ## Why we made this The skincare in the corner of your shelf. The pantry stuff you'll "definitely use this week." The half-finished bottle of olive oil from last winter. You buy with optimism; you forget just as fast. We didn't build Buy-Bye to be another reminder. We built it so you can have a conversation with your own buying habits. Every item ages, gets a nudge, and eventually says its goodbye. ## What you can do • Snap a package photo — auto-fills name and expiration date • Scan a barcode — pulls product info from OpenFoodFacts • Morning / evening routines with streak tracking • Waste log — see how much you've actually thrown away in cash • Per-item view: days left, days since opened, expected uses • Custom categories and per-item replacement cycles • Local notifications before things expire (timing customisable) ## Four voices, four characters Pick one, and it sets the voice for everything: • Sharp: "babe, no. you literally just bought one." • Gentle: "don't worry, we'll get through them one by one." • Calm: "12 items. 3 expiring within 7 days." • Cute: "the little ones are waiting for you." Each character has its own art, expressions, and idle / walk / sleep / celebrate animations. Your cupboard now has residents. ## Fully on-device Buy-Bye **collects no data**. No account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads, no analytics SDK. Everything you enter lives only on your phone. Package photos are processed by your device's built-in ML Kit / Vision — they're never uploaded.
