New in 1.9.0: • Retail Prices — weekly U.S. gasoline ($/gal, all grades) and diesel prices, regionalized by PADD. • Crude Production split — Alaska vs Lower 48. • Crude Imports split — Commercial vs into the SPR. • Sub-filters in detail view — tap into Distillate to switch between ULSD / 15-500 ppm / >500 ppm sulfur grades; tap into Total Motor Gasoline for Reformulated / Conventional / Blending Components. Works at both national and PADD level. • New cards — Crude Production, Fuel Ethanol Production, Propane & Residual Fuel Demand, Propane & Residual Fuel Exports, Unfinished Oils stocks, Other Oils stocks. • Regional filter now applies across all three tabs (Inventory, Analysis, Changes).

New: Regional filter for the Inventory tab • Tap "Whole US," "PADD 1" (East Coast), "PADD 2" (Midwest), "PADD 3" (Gulf Coast), "PADD 4" (Rocky Mountain), or "PADD 5" (West Coast) to scope the petroleum charts to that region. Natural gas figures stay national. • The filter chip row pins to the top of the Inventory tab so you can keep changing regions while scrolling through cards. • Tapping a regional card opens the detail chart for that PADD's data, not the national parent. • Cards EIA doesn't publish for the selected PADD (e.g. propane in PADD 4–5) are hidden so the grid stays clean. New: Settings → "Remember region filter" toggle (off by default). The Inventory tab opens on Whole US each launch unless you turn this on, in which case your last PADD selection is restored. Also in this release: • Reordered the Analysis tab to lead with Refinery Utilization, Net Crude Imports, Crude Imports, then Crude Exports. • Various labeling and layout polish on the regional cards.

Reordered charts Bug fixes

This release introduces ads to help support ongoing data hosting and development: • A small banner now appears at the bottom of the screen and between some charts. All data, charts, and features are unchanged — same EIA numbers, same workflow. • On first launch you choose whether to allow personalized ads. You can decline (and change it anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) — you'll simply see non-personalized ads instead. • Reliability improvements. • New: Average values • New: Theme picker in Settings — choose System default, Light, or Dark • New: Jet Fuel by PADD (regional breakdown) • New: Residual Fuel Oil by PADD • New: Fuel Ethanol by PADD • New: Propane by PADD (P1, P2, P3 — P4/P5 withheld by EIA) • New: Crude Exports and refined product exports (Gasoline, Distillate, Jet Fuel) • New: Weekly demand series (Gasoline, Distillate, Jet Fuel) • New: Refinery Production and Gross Inputs by PADD

New in 1.3 • Analysis tab — the dashboard now splits into Inventory (raw stock levels) and Analysis (derived metrics like rates and flows), so the headline numbers are easier to find. • Days of Cover — gasoline and distillate days of supply (stocks ÷ trailing 4-week demand). A quick read on how tight inventories are. • Net Crude Imports — gross imports minus exports. With the U.S. now exporting several million barrels a day, this is the figure that actually matters. • Changes tab — a new third tab with a table of week-over-week deltas across every series, EIA-style. Tap any row to jump to its history. • PADD breakdowns for Refinery Utilization and Crude Imports — tap a card, then "View regional breakdown." • Every card now shows the absolute change ("3,327 kbbl") alongside the percent, not just the percent. • Faster data refresh — new infrastructure picks up each EIA release within minutes of publication. • Chart layout refinements throughout.

• New Release schedule screen — tap the ⋮ menu on the dashboard to see EIA's holiday-shifted release calendar at a glance. • Dashboard header now reads "Latest: [date]" instead of "Updated X ago" — the date is unambiguous about what the data covers. • More reliable background refresh — release builds no longer obfuscate the background-fetch task, so the "wake up and check for new data" path actually runs even after long-idle periods. • Notification dedup — fewer duplicate notifications when both FCM push and workmanager wake up at the same instant. • Accessibility — screen-reader descriptions on the seasonal and timeline charts in detail view. • Offline polish — cold-start with no network and no bundled snapshot renders an "empty" state instantly instead of blank-spinning for 30 seconds. • Smaller polish: dark-mode contrast, dashboard performance, change-direction badges now match between sighted view and screen-reader announcements.
