What’s New Version 1.90.0

SportMetrix keeps evolving! What's new in 1.90: • MisRutas.net integration: connect your account from Profile (authorizing in the browser, just like Strava). Sync the portal's routes into your history, upload your workouts choosing whether they're public or private and their difficulty, and download the full track (GPS, elevation, times and sensors) of any route on the portal to view it on the map. • No more duplicates in History: an activity uploaded to both Strava and MisRutas no longer appears twice; it now shows once with both portal icons, and existing duplicates merge automatically on the next sync. • Map: when opened without a location fix, it no longer centers on Madrid — it now centers on your last known location (or the end of your last outdoor activity); if there's no reference at all, it shows a world view. A blinking red icon warns you while no location is available. • Live route sharing reorganized: the control moves to a single spot at the bottom-left of the map, while the share-pointer-location button moves to the right column, next to the center button and the zoom controls. • Data screen: cards are reorganized into two columns, showing only the ones that apply to your sport and active sensors, with text automatically resizing to fit the available space. • Map: the heart rate indicator turns into a pulsing red heart when your heart rate enters the anaerobic zone (80% of max HR). • Uploading to Strava now asks for confirmation before sending the activity to your account. • Import route by RouteDesigner ID: the suggested title now includes the ID in brackets, and the route is saved marked as "Don't count" in the monthly view, since it's a design rather than a completed activity. Bug fixes: • Import route (by ID or file): fixed an internal error when the import dialogs closed, which could break the screen and abort the import. • Upload to Strava/MisRutas: editing the route's name or description without closing its detail view sent the previous values instead of the newly edited ones. • History: returning from a route's detail view after syncing or uploading it now keeps your scroll position. • Map: when finishing a route, the average speed and distance in the stats panel are now shown with matching size and alignment. Thanks for training with us!

Build 887077403v1.81.02026-06-17 17:43:18
What's new in 1.81: • 8 new sports: hiking, trail, gravel, e-MTB, skiing, kayak, paddle surf and strength training. Gravel is now its own sport, separate from road cycling ("Road" and "Gravel" as distinct entries). Strength training is a distance-free session: just time, heart rate and calories. Each sport has its own icon, GPS mode and auto-pause thresholds. • My sports in Profile: a new card lets you toggle which sports appear in the sport selection carousel on the Activity and Data screens. At least one sport must remain visible; if you hide the one currently in use (while not recording) another is selected automatically; the active sport cannot be hidden while recording. The card title turns blue and shows how many sports are selected. On a fresh install the most common sports come pre-selected (walking, hiking, running, MTB and road cycling). • Share a location from the map: when you pan the map, a button appears next to the crosshair to share that exact point; tap it to copy the location as a link to Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze and send it through any app. • Live route button on the map: the live route sharing control has been moved out of Settings and now appears as a button on the map when you pan it (next to the share location button), only while an outdoor recording is active. It shows the same options as before and, with an active session, lets you see the share code, change the update frequency and stop the live. • Import route by ID: the dialog now comes with the sport the route was designed for pre-selected and the route name already filled in, showing only your active sports in case you want to change it. Bug fixes: • Live route: the sport icon sent to the web viewer is now correctly displayed for all sports, including the new ones. • Map: the waypoint button now only appears while a recording is active; it no longer shows when there is no recording or while paused. • Live sharing: when the definitive elevation gain is calculated after normalising GPS elevation data, it is now sent to the viewer so the correct value is shown instead of the raw GPS reading. Build 886801424v1.80.02026-06-11 14:52:39
SportMetrix keeps evolving! What's new in 1.80: • Import routes by ID: the import button in History now offers two options, "From file" and "By RouteDesigner ID". This new option lets you bring in a route designed at design.misrutas.net by typing the 6-digit ID shown when you share it there. The route downloads within the dialog itself (with a progress indicator); if the ID doesn't exist or has expired, the message is shown without closing the dialog so you can fix it. On a successful download you can name it and pick the sport, just like importing a file. • Global popular routes heatmap: the heatmap now starts to cover the whole world (MTB for now) instead of just Spain. The app adapts automatically to whatever the server provides: which sports are available and up to which zoom level, with no app update needed. When the worldwide road and on-foot heatmaps are published, they will appear on their own. Bug fixes: • The heatmap button is now always available and keeps the state you left it in (on or off). It previously disappeared when finishing a workout while the summary was shown, and only appeared in some areas. • Fixed the map "spin" during recording with movement-orientation mode, which occasionally turned almost a full circle the wrong way and back. Rotation now always takes the shortest turn. • Heatmap offline download: it no longer tries to fetch zoom levels the server doesn't have for that layer, avoiding useless requests. • Maintenance: internal libraries updated to their latest compatible versions (Bluetooth, SVG, permissions, database) with no behaviour changes. Thanks for training with us!
Build 886698743v1.79.02026-06-09 16:37:51
SportMetrix keeps evolving! What's new in 1.79: • Full-screen map viewer in route detail: explore the track with zoom and pan, color it by elevation gain, speed or altitude, enable the popular routes heatmap and edit waypoints directly on the map. The interactive elevation or speed chart syncs with the map: tap a point to jump there, or drag to travel the route in real time. • Popular routes heatmap on the main map, now with a floating button that appears when data is available. Choose sport (MTB, Road or On foot) and track color. • New map types: Topo HD (clear relief and labels, replaces CyclOSM) and MTB Map (contours and trails, replaces OSM+Trails). • Status indicators on the map: sharing icon (live session active), cadence (sensor connected) and heart (heart rate monitor active). Informational only. • Settings are now always editable, even with a workout in progress. • Friend portals in Profile: direct link to misrutas.net to download thousands of routes. • Cadence zones redesigned: 6 fixed compact zones, no redundant zone map. • History thumbnails now use Topo HD map, clearer at small size. Bug fixes: • Average speed fixed at workout end (no longer recalculated incorrectly after route optimisation) • Monthly summary: time per sport now shows moving time • Voice announcer: settings are now preserved when switching sport or restarting • Update banner on iPhone: the Update button now opens the App Store correctly Thanks for training with us!
Build 886437825v1.78.02026-06-03 00:09:49
• The app now opens straight on the Map, with your activity always in view • Switch sport instantly with the new carousel • Read the terrain: climbs are highlighted on the map and thumbnails • Start recording right from the map, without leaving the screen • New Nutrition and hydration section in the workout details • Voice announcer: mute with a single tap without losing your settings
