Description
Pare gives you a financial briefing — a plain-English read on where your money stands, what changed, and what actually matters.
Most finance apps hand you a dashboard and expect you to do the interpretation. Pare does the interpretation first. The math is still there, underneath, when you want it. But the surface is calm: a short, written answer to the question you actually came in with — am I okay?
HOW PARE IS DIFFERENT
Pare is not a budgeting app. It is not a spreadsheet with a nicer skin. It is a prepared read on your finances, written in the voice of a friend who happens to know the numbers cold.
Open the app and you do not start with charts. You start with a sentence. Then another. The full ledger is one tap away, but you rarely need it. The briefing is the product.
WHAT YOU GET
— Connect your accounts in seconds. Pare uses Plaid to securely link your checking, savings, credit cards, and investments. Read-only. Your credentials never touch our servers.
— See where you stand. Net worth, cash position, and what changed since last week, in plain English. No squinting at sparklines.
— Understand what moved. When a balance shifts or a new charge clears, Pare tells you what it was and whether it matters. Routine spending stays quiet. Things worth noticing surface.
— Know what is safe to spend. Pare reads your real income, real bills, and real patterns — and tells you, today, how much room you actually have. Not a budget you set six months ago. The number that is true right now.
— Review the month without studying charts. At the end of every month, Pare delivers a written recap: what you earned, what you spent, what shifted, and what stood out. Read it like an article.
— Keep the math visible. Every plain-English answer is backed by the underlying transactions, balances, and calculations. Tap once and you are in the ledger. Tap back and you are in the briefing. Both surfaces, always.
WHO PARE IS FOR
Pare is built for people who earn well, who are not bad with money, and who are still tired. Tired of switching between five apps. Tired of dashboards that confuse instead of clarify. Tired of treating a normal Tuesday like a financial exam.
If you have ever opened a finance app and immediately closed it, Pare is for you.
WHAT PARE IS NOT
Pare is not a robo-advisor. It does not pick your investments.
Pare is not a bank. It does not hold your money.
Pare is not a budgeting tool. It does not ask you to categorize every coffee.
Pare is not free. Good software costs money, and ad-supported finance apps have conflicting incentives.
PRIVACY
Bank credentials are handled by Plaid and never reach our servers. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your information. We do not show ads. The subscription is the business model — that is the entire arrangement.
SUBSCRIPTION
Pare is $19.99 per month or $179.99 per year after a 7-day free trial. Subscription auto-renews at the price shown until cancelled. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
