Description

JLPT Tango Plus is a Japanese vocabulary app for learners preparing for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). The “Tango” in the app name comes from the Japanese word 単語(たんご), which means “word.” The moment you see the app name, you have already learned your first Japanese word. From beginner N5 to advanced N1, you can study JLPT vocabulary by level and review words repeatedly through a simple, focused learning flow. Instead of just looking at words once, JLPT Tango Plus uses a learning queue. Words you mark as memorized are removed from the current queue, while words you are unsure about are sent to the back of the queue. This helps you naturally review the words you have not fully memorized yet. [Main Features] 1. JLPT N5–N1 Vocabulary Decks Study vocabulary by JLPT level: N5, N4, N3, N2, and N1. Whether you are just starting Japanese or preparing for advanced vocabulary, you can learn at your own level. 2. Cumulative Decks in Sets of 50 Words Decks are organized cumulatively in 50-word units. For example, Deck 1 includes words 1–50, Deck 2 includes words 1–100, and Deck 3 includes words 1–150. You can learn new words while naturally reviewing previous ones. 3. Learning Queue for Repeated Review Each new study session shuffles the word order. Words marked as “Memorized” are removed from the queue, and words marked as “Not Memorized” move to the end. This lets you focus more on the words you still need to review. 4. Continue Learning Your current learning queue is saved even if you leave the app. When you return, you can continue right where you left off, making it easy to study during commutes, breaks, or short free moments. 5. Review Count Tracking The app records how many times you complete each deck. Review badges help you easily check your progress and stay motivated. 6. Japanese Pronunciation Audio Listen to Japanese word pronunciation using your device’s Japanese text-to-speech feature. You can check pronunciation even without a network connection. 7. Color-Coded Kanji Reading Types Kanji reading types are shown with different colors, including on’yomi, kun’yomi, jukujikun, and ateji. This helps you notice reading differences while memorizing words. 8. Hiragana and Katakana Charts Review hiragana and katakana charts, including basic sounds, voiced sounds, and semi-voiced sounds. Tap each cell to hear its pronunciation. 9. Word Writing Practice Practice JLPT vocabulary by writing words yourself. 10. Personal Vocabulary Deck Add your own words and create a personal vocabulary deck. You can save expressions from textbooks, classes, anime, dramas, travel, or daily study. 11. Light / Dark / System Theme Choose light mode, dark mode, or system theme for a comfortable learning experience. 12. Data Reset Reset your study records and saved data whenever you want to start again from the beginning. [Recommended For] * Learners preparing for JLPT N5, N4, N3, N2, or N1 * Learners who want to memorize Japanese vocabulary by level * Learners who want to review memorized and unmemorized words separately * Learners who want to check Japanese pronunciation * Learners who want to practice writing Japanese vocabulary * Learners who want to study hiragana and katakana * Learners who want to create their own Japanese vocabulary deck * Learners who want to review Japanese words consistently in short sessions Memorize Japanese vocabulary step by step with JLPT Tango Plus, and remember words longer through repetition-based review.
