Tarteela is a focused Quran companion built around one goal: helping you read, memorize, and revise the Book of Allah with modern, precise tools, while preserving the authenticity of the text and the recitation. No ads. No subscriptions. No accounts. No data collection. READ Tarteela renders the Madinah Mushaf using the canonical typesetting of the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (1441H edition). Every page, line break, waqf mark, and ayah numeral matches the printed mushaf. The reading view supports a single page on phones and a facing-page spread on iPad. LISTEN Listen to each verse with clear, per-ayah recitation. Audio streams on demand, so the app stays small, and the default listening experience needs no large download. REPEAT AFTER THE TEACHER Repeat mode uses the teaching mushaf of Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husari. Listen to a phrase, then recite it back at a kuttab pace. Tarteela follows your voice and highlights the words you pronounced correctly, so you build accurate memorization phrase by phrase. DRILL YOUR MEMORIZATION Drill mode lets you recite from memory while Tarteela grades every word in real time. A Quran-tuned speech recognition model runs entirely on your device, with on-device acceleration on supported iPhones. Your recitation never leaves your phone and is never uploaded to any server. ROOTS AND MEANINGS Tap any word in the mushaf to see its triliteral root, its derivatives across the Quran, and its meaning drawn from six classical Arabic dictionaries: Kitab al-Ayn, al-Sihah, Maqayis al-Lugha, Lisan al-Arab, al-Qamus al-Muhit, and Taj al-Arus, along with poetic citations. No other Quran reader surfaces classical roots and multi-source meanings this richly. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Tarteela collects nothing and tracks nothing. There is no account to create and no analytics SDK. Microphone audio used for memorization is processed only on your device. Large assets, such as the speech model and additional recitations, are downloaded on demand and stored locally, so the initial app stays lightweight.
