What’s New Version 1.04
New in this version
• Multiple calendar accounts — connect more than one Outlook and
Google account at once. Each appears as its own row in
Settings → Calendar with its email address.
• "What's next" growth insights — every 30–90 days a fresh
insight surfaces a few concrete additions tailored to the
identities you picked at onboarding.
• Routines — tap a planned routine on Home to preview the steps
before starting; duplicate routines via context menu;
auto-derived step icons; keyboard auto-dismiss in the editor;
template picker in the create flow; step suggestions tuned to
morning / midday / evening; weekday/weekend grouping.
• Habits — tap an idea chip in the editor to pre-fill name + icon;
smarter, more grounded trigger suggestions; identity-framing
fields appear only when "Aspirational" is on; "Add trigger" in
the detail hub jumps you straight to the trigger section.
• Sleep — the sleep card now clusters samples into actual
overnight sessions, so afternoon naps no longer appear as
"last night". Tap the card for a detail sheet with bedtime,
wake time, stages, and your 7-night average.
• Polish — full-row taps on home cards; X-to-clear text fields;
labelled review gaps stay editable; deep-links from wake
notifications, Siri shortcuts, and widgets now reach the app
reliably.
Description
Magic Morning is a daily-improvement companion. Not a tracker that nags. A
quiet partner that helps you become 1% better, every day.
It runs alongside your morning, your habits, and your small repeating wins —
without demanding your attention.
WHAT YOU GET
· Morning Routines
Build a routine that actually fits your morning. Step-by-step timing,
optional subtasks, and a Live Activity on your lockscreen so you can stay
in flow without unlocking the phone.
· Habits, the way they work
Daily or weekly-target habits with optional triggers ("when I finish
breakfast, I take my vitamins"). Two-day backdating for the days you
forgot to log. Streak counters that honor the long view, not the panic.
· Insights from your own data
Patterns, plateaus, small wins — surfaced from your routines, habits,
and Apple Health data. Insights are clearly marked when generated by AI
versus computed from rules.
· On-device first
Your data stays on your iPhone by default. AI features (where available)
run on-device using Apple Intelligence on supported hardware. No
third-party trackers. No analytics. No ads. Ever.
· Designed to be ambient, not interruptive
Maximum five notifications per day. Most of the app lives on your
lockscreen and Dynamic Island, not in another app you have to open.
PHILOSOPHY
Magic Morning is built around evidence-based behavioral psychology —
positive reinforcement, identity-based habit formation (James Clear),
implementation intentions (Gollwitzer), the Zeigarnik effect, and the
compounding nature of small daily wins.
It's not gamified. There are no points, no levels, no leaderboards. The
streak is the reward. Becoming the kind of person who shows up is the
reward.
PRIVACY
· No third-party analytics
· No ad networks
· HealthKit data stays on your device, full stop
· Calendar event titles never leave your device
· Full data export and full data deletion are built in
· Compliant with EU AI Act transparency obligations (clearly marked AI
output)
REQUIREMENTS
iOS 17 or later. AI features require Apple Intelligence on supported
hardware (iPhone 15 Pro or later, iOS 26). On other devices, the app
gracefully falls back to on-device deterministic insights — no cloud,
no missing features.
Magic Morning is designed and built by a small independent developer.
Feedback welcome.

Build 886077445v1.022026-05-25 00:09:55
Crash fix for a launch crash some users experienced on iOS 26.
New in this version:
• Habit Detail Hub — tap any habit to open a per-habit view with
stats, current trigger, habit-stacking suggestions, 1 % improvement
tips, and a focused insights stream.
• Backdate from Review — fix a missed habit straight from the day
you noticed it (today, yesterday, day-before).
• Sleep stages — Deep / REM / Core / Awake breakdown on the Home
sleep card for Apple Watch users.
• Companion default name — your in-app coach is now called "Coach";
rename it any time in Settings → Profile.
Magic Morning continues to process all your data on-device — no

Build 886089787v1.032026-05-25 18:09:27
Fixes a launch crash that affected some users after the v1.02 update.

Build 885658212v1.012026-05-23 22:41:59
Sync across devices, calendar integration, and a more refined experience.
· iCloud sync. Your routines, habits and progress now sync automatically between your iPhone and iPad. Sign into the same Apple ID and everything's there.
· Calendar integration. Connect your Google Calendar or Outlook to see your day in context. We never store your calendar data — it stays on your device.
· Interactive widgets. Tap to check off a habit or start a routine, right from your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
· Smarter insights. Better pattern detection for the gaps in your day — because untracked time isn't failure, it's data.
· Privacy refinements. Screen privacy when switching apps. Full data wipe now also clears connected calendar accounts.
· Plus: deeper German localization, smoother loading, and dozens of small polish improvements.
