**v1.0.5 — first major update since launch.** **NEW** - Difficulty selection on game start. Pick Easy, Normal, or Hard after choosing your team. Easy: hands you a contender with two father-son recruits, Normal: a fair fight, Hard: a list to rebuild from scratch. - Pre-match speeches. Before kickoff, "yell at the team" for a performance boost during the match. Three speeches per season — save them for the games that matter. **IMPROVED** - Smarter AI in away matches — the home opponent now adapts its intensity through the game instead of staying balanced. - Weekly training screen now appears between finals weeks while your team is still in contention. **FIXED** - Free Agency state matching — non-Victorian clubs (Eagles, Dockers, Crows, Power, Swans, Giants, Lions, Suns) now correctly identify their local players for the home-state bid bonus. - Re-entering the draft mid-flow no longer forfeits your remaining picks. Done Drafting explicitly opts out. - Career game counts for CPU midfielders and defenders now accumulate correctly each round. - Injured players show the injury icon on the squad screen. - Player strength now improves and declines through training, alongside the other skills. - Only one international rookie may be signed per season, as intended. - "Couldn't load your save" recovery screen replaces an indefinite loading hang on cold starts.
