Faces of War 1866

The history of all of Europe was written in Czechia: in 1866, Austrian and Prussian armies clashed near Königgrätz (Hradec Králové). Almost half a million soldiers fought in the biggest battle on Czech territory. One that deeply influenced not only European history, but also the lives of locals. The unique historical app extends the exposition of the Museum of the War of 1866. In order to see all the content, users have to visit the museum in person. Follow the traces of soldiers, farmers and children. Their memories come alive in interactive comics and dramatic audio materials. What was it like to march into battle in the 19th century or hear the thunder of artillery in the house you grew up in? In augmented reality you will see historical cannons and fortifications, while a detailed encyclopedia explains all the important context.
