we are created by a Creator to create. to create community. to create friendship. to build visions into reality alongside each other. to make art. to make music. to create depth of connection. to create something that feels real, because God knows that when we are in the flow of creation, we are in rhythm with Him. --- life's greatest pleasures are deep joy and laughter among friends. seeing the fruit of hard work turn into something beautiful. creating something that isn't only pleasing to us, but life-giving to others. we are called to adventure. we are called to create. for it brings us a kind of joy we rarely get to experience anymore, because everything around us is built to distract, isolate, and pull us from deep relationship with each other and our Creator. --- Jesus told us to set our mind on things above. and we try. in the morning. before we sleep. but we pull out our phones, and where does it go? to things of the world. --- maybe you don't have a community around you or a place to ask the questions you're too afraid to ask at church. maybe you don't even go to church anymore because you're afraid you'll be judged for who you are & what you struggle with. or maybe church feels inauthentic. maybe you don't feel like you fit in anywhere. because you've never found a place that felt real. it all feels like smoke, mirrors, and the Truman show. --- we have a mission. and we are asking you to be part of it: to redefine what it means to be the church in the digital age. the church isn't a building. the church is a gathering of believers. a gathering of those who have decided to pursue a different way of life, and follow the One who conquered it all. --- above is for the 10pm dinner parties about life and love and the pursuit of Christ. for the 8am surf and psalms meditation before the day starts pulling you in. for the rooftop sunset and the worship night and the conversation that keeps going long after the candles burn down. for the morning runs that turn into accountability calls. for the late-night drives and sunrise prayers with people in the same rhythm of life. for the solopreneur building on the wisdom of Solomon, not the metrics of the market. for the studio session & open mic night where your work is offered as worship. for the dinner you host in your apartment filled with the conversation of life love & the pursuit of Christ. for the friday night you don't spend doom-scrolling because you're somewhere real instead. for the moments you'd never post because they're too sacred to flatten into content. for the third-space gatherings of people with a shared mind set on things above. above is a place to seek Him above everything else. and to do that, in community.
