Description
Ondo. is a minimalist habit tracker for iPhone. Build habits, stay fit, and let Apple Health auto-complete the rest. Free, easy to use, and no in-app purchases.
The name comes from Japanese 音頭 (ondo) — "the beat that leads."
A calm, private place for the things you actually want to repeat — workouts, water, weight, steps, reading, anything. No accounts. No sync. No ads. Your habits live on your iPhone and nowhere else.
Link a habit to a workout type or a Health metric, and Ondo. checks the box for you. Run a 5K — your "Run twice a week" habit ticks. Apple Health logs your steps — your step goal updates. Lift weights — your strength habit counts the session. Ondo. only reads from Apple Health. It never writes back, and your data never leaves your iPhone.
You stay in control: any auto-complete can be overridden manually, and you can edit past days at any time.
— Three kinds of habits, easy to set up —
• Binary — done or not done. Read tonight. Stretched today. Took the meds.
• Counter — count toward a target. Three workouts this week. Eight glasses today.
• Metric — read a value from Apple Health and check it against a goal. Hit 8,000 steps. Stay under 75 kg. Walk 30 minutes.
Cadence is yours: daily, weekly with specific days, or weekly with a count (e.g. "three times a week, any days"). Easy to change as life changes.
No streaks-as-pressure. No confetti. No badges. Two gentle daily reminders — your morning intent and your evening reflection — plus optional per-habit nudges. The interface is monochrome, calm, and built for reading at a glance.
— Private. On-device only. —
Ondo. has no servers. There is no sign-up, no login, no cloud account. The app does not know who installed it, when you opened it, or what you tracked. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," and that is the whole story.
— Honest accountability —
Completion percentage over fragile streaks. If you miss a day, you don't lose months of progress — you see exactly what happened and keep going. Weekly and monthly views make it easy to spot patterns without judgment.
— What you get —
• Today view — every habit you set, what's left, what's done
• Week view — the current week at a glance, retroactively editable
• Library — every habit you've defined, organized your way
• Per-habit analytics — completion rate, last 365 days, weekly grids, daily averages for metrics
• Apple Health auto-complete for steps, weight, workouts, distance, exercise minutes, and more
• Optional reminders, scheduled by iOS, computed on your device
