What’s New Version 2.0.3
The biggest update yet - a new era for the game. and a huge amount shaped by your feedback.
A living world that fights and makes peace. Real ongoing conflicts now sit on a world stage that escalates on its own. Take a posture, hold Commons votes on military deployment, mediate, back-channel, deploy peacekeepers, or impose sanctions with real teeth - and a war you cool can settle into a lasting ceasefire and a brokered peace, with the front pages and your standing responding either way. New wars can even erupt when relationships you've soured finally boil over.
Every seat, counted. General elections are now a full 650-constituency, seat-by-seat count with a hex map of the country, a real per-party breakdown, and a skip-ahead so results never drag.
A House that votes like real MPs. Bill divisions now tally how each MP actually votes - your own rebels by faction, the opposition by ideology so the pass forecast reflects the real chamber, not a black box. And your party has wings that push back: govern against your base and you'll feel it.
Your past comes back to haunt you. A career ledger remembers your choices and scandals and resurfaces them - at Prime Minister's Questions, in the press, in debates, on the campaign trail.
Weighty decisions arrive as a call. Landmark dilemmas. A Lords appointment, a donor's offer, a new Bank of England Governor, an inquiry chair - now play out as full branching decision calls, each with consequences down the line.
Fund and fight a real campaign. A campaign war-chest, a roster of donors with strings attached, and a Campaign HQ where you choose how to spend each week run clean, or take tainted money for firepower and a corruption trail.
A richer world of diplomacy. World leaders now have relationships with each other, not just with you visible on a new World Relationships screen. Aid, trade, and sanctions are one connected web: help a leader through a disaster and it can unlock a trade deal later; snub them and expect tariffs.
New constitutional horizons. Build a CANZUK union or pursue EU accession as multi-phase national projects. Plus new Regional Mayors that are party aligned do you fund the opposition or just your own Mayors, a crime index, an expanded radio phone-in, and a game that adapts if the monarchy is abolished.
And under the hood, reliability you asked for. Purchases now stick reliably (a background issue that could re-lock paying players is fixed at the source). Vote forecasts match real results. Coalitions count their seats correctly and pass the bills their partners support. Brokered ceasefires are properly reported. Plus a rolling save backup so a bad write can't cost you your game — and dozens of bug fixes and clarity improvements throughout.
As always I read every piece of feedback, and this update is full of things that came straight from players. Thank you. Keep it coming.
Description
You're the new UK Prime Minister.
Your inbox is full of crises. Your Whip is worried. PMQs is coming up. The front pages are brutal. Try not to get sacked.
Prime Minister UK Politics Simulator is an offline political strategy game built on a real 650-seat UK Parliament and a national model of 152 live indicators. Eight parties, three difficulty tiers, and every choice you make is logged, weighted and remembered — by the economy, the press, your party and the country.
EVERY DECISION HAS CONSEQUENCES
Reply to a journalist and you've moved approval, party loyalty, integrity and a faction's hostility — usually all four. Promise tax cuts you can't deliver and the deficit comes for you. No filler — every email, interview and despatch-box answer moves the machine.
THE COUNTRY ACTUALLY RESPONDS
Underneath the politics runs a deep simulation of the nation — 152 indicators across 11 domains, from GDP growth, inflation and the bond rating to NHS waiting lists, homes built, small-boat arrivals, child poverty and CO2 emissions. They aren't decoration. Fund the NHS and waiting lists fall; back housebuilding and homes get affordable; let a problem fester and it grows. Thirty-three carry live crisis thresholds that force decisions onto your desk.
A TREASURY THAT BITES
Set budgets across the real fiscal levers. Push tax too far and the Laffer curve pushes back. Read OBR forecasts and manage inflation across fiscal stance, tax, the Bank of England and energy. Lose the markets and the bond rating, deficit and debt come for you.
ELECTION NIGHT, ON A REAL MAP OF BRITAIN
Every general election plays out seat by seat across all 650 constituencies, on a live hex map of the UK. Watch the count roll in at your own pace, with battlegrounds and famous seats called as they declare, pundits running the night, and the majority line creeping closer. Pass electoral reform and the country votes again under proportional representation.
A WORLD THAT MOVES WITHOUT YOU
Beyond Westminster, the world turns. Real global conflicts flare, escalate and drag on — pushing oil prices, driving inflation, and landing hard choices on your desk. Arm a side and you might lose the Commons vote. Abandon an ally and Britain's word counts for less next time. Wreck relations between two rival powers and you can start a war you're not even in.
WHEN NOBODY WINS
A hung parliament isn't game over. As the sitting PM you get first go at forming a government — weigh coalition offers from one party or several, reconcile the bill-maths across your bloc, and rebuild your Cabinet from partner MPs when your ministers lose their seats. Or govern as a minority and gamble on every vote.
MANIFESTO PLEDGES AS A BINDING CONTRACT
Pick your pledges in office. Every bill, budget and project moves them between delivered, in progress and broken. Break them and the opposition cites them at PMQs and the columnists weaponise them. You deliver, defend or pay.
WHEN THE BACK BENCHES TURN
Leadership challenges and no-confidence motions fire when sleaze, broken pledges, low approval or a thin majority push your own MPs to reach for the dagger. A scandal-hit minister can lose their seat and force a by-election that reshapes your majority overnight.
THE GOVERNMENT YOU RUN
Lead eight real parties, each with distinct factions, parliamentary maths and ideological pressure. Appoint a full Cabinet from your real roster of MPs, each with personalities, expertise, scandals and hidden ambitions who'll bargain over the jobs you offer them. Pass bills through a hostile Commons, run the Whip's Office, and field calls from Washington, Brussels, Beijing, Moscow and beyond. Put the great questions to the country in a referendum — Europe, the union, the monarchy — and govern through the aftermath.
OFFLINE-FIRST. NO TIMERS. NO ADS.
Built and updated by a solo developer who reads the reviews — a lot of the game came straight from players.

Your decisions now shape the country.
• REAL CONSEQUENCES — The bills you pass, the budgets you set and the projects you build now move all the nation's stats. Fund the NHS and waiting lists come down; back housebuilding and homes get more affordable; invest in jobs and unemployment falls; let a problem fester and it grows. Govern well across a full term and the numbers reflect it.
• NEW LEGISLATION — A fresh slate of bills for the despatch box: planning reform, a National Cancer Strategy, a Women's Health Strategy, pay transparency, clean air and clean rivers, the EV transition, SEN funding, children's mental health — and a Debt Management Bill to win back the nation's credit rating.
• TRUER TO YOUR GOVERNMENT — Your party and your record now carry through consistently, from election night to PMQs. The story always matches the government you're actually leading.
• FAIRER COMMONS — PMQs and the lobby stick to what you've genuinely done. No more being asked about decisions you never made.

REFERENDUMS
Put the great questions to the country: EU membership, Scottish and Welsh independence, an NI border poll, House of Lords abolition — even the monarchy. Wrangle a split cabinet, launch get-out-the-vote drives, raise the stakes — then govern through an aftermath that can reshape the union for good.
LEADERSHIP CHALLENGES EXPANSION
Your own party can now move against you — 1922-Committee style — before the Commons ever gets a vote of no confidence. Spot the ringleader, buy their silence, or face the men in grey suits.
A TREASURY THAT BITES
Hawk and Dove chancellors, Push tax too far and the Laffer curve pushes back. Read three-year OBR forecasts, set departmental budgets, and watch mortgage distress hit households when rates climb.
LOCAL ELECTIONS EXPANSIONS
Tour the bellwether towns and meet voters on the doorstep — answering for the issues that actually decide council seats, from potholes and council tax to GP waits.
SMARTER CAMPAIGNS
Choose your strategy — go negative, run positive, or win the air war — track approval across all four nations, and spend your campaign energy wisely.
ON THE WORLD STAGE
Host state visits, negotiate trade deals, and manage world leaders with clear cooldown timers.
Plus sharper PMQs and lobby scrutiny, a more realistic Commons division, and dozens of fixes and refinements throughout.
Bug fixes and optimisations as always
Thanks for playing — Number 10 awaits.
Build 886542246v1.62026-06-04 23:06:05
Here's what's in v1.6
Major new systems
World leaders expansion and new trade mechanics
The 13 world leaders have been expanded to 32. They track what you promised them, when, and whether you kept your word. Break a pledge — there's a 3% weekly chance they'll call you on it publicly. Trade deals can be renegotiated 8 weeks out, auto-renegotiated at 4. Each leader now has 10 demands, 10 offers, 20 triggers and 5 quotable phrases in their own voice. New Diplomatic Flow screen for state visits, military pacts, aid packages, trade deals and visas. New Multilateral Coordination screen for working four allies on a shared objective at once.
Inflation with five levers
You now have five tools: Fiscal Stance with a CPI anchor, supply-side bills, tax tools, your relationship with the Bank of England, and your energy package. Stack-decay prevents compounding tricks. Suppress too hard and Kate will flag it. Bring inflation down responsibly and you'll bank a Disinflation achievement.
PMQs expansion and more gated questions
New questions. Round 3 can now react to how you answered round 2 — and the opposition leaders have their own voice for it (25 reactive variants across 5 strategies and 5 attack styles). 45 new questions are gated on diplomatic moves you've actually made. Your running figures — small boats arrivals, the deficit, the asylum backlog — now substitute into response text too, not just questions, so the back-and-forth uses your real numbers.
Election engine rebalanced
A cube-law 9-band model. Pledges only protect you if you're actually on track. Kept-pledge bonus caps cleaner. Landslides land less often (threshold raised from 49% to 51%). New "Voters reward your record" row on the polls screen shows the direct impact of your governance. Leaders of opposition can get sacked and replaced, opposition is now calculated on seat count of elections. Seat-driven opposition resolver 6-deep rotation with 48 different identities
The smaller cuts
Journalist outlet-voice intros — lobby coverage finally sounds different by paper
Cabinet briefings and project surfaces now have proper cooldowns
King's Speech can no longer be interrupted by a foreign call
New pothole class-action inbox item wired up and gated to the relevant project

Build 886196079v1.52026-05-28 14:39:56
What's New in Version 1.5
Party Leadership Challenge
Your own MPs can now move against you. If approval slumps, scandals mount, or PMQs losses pile up, letters of no confidence in your leadership begin to accumulate in the parliamentary party. Watch Kate's warnings, shore up your backbenchers and if the threshold is crossed, face a live ballot against a named challenger. Survive with a decisive majority and your authority is restored. Lose, and the premiership is over.
For the bold: you can call the ballot yourself before the threshold is reached, on your own terms. Do you dare to take that risk?
Smarter End-of-Term Report
Bills passed, projects completed, and scandals faced now show your current-term record, not a running lifetime total. Multi-term players get a full career summary card on the results screen.
Fairer Start to Every Game
All four starting mandates now begin with zero hostile MPs. The parliamentary party may be fractious or uncertain, but day-one hostility has been removed, you now have time to govern before the knife comes out.
Energy & Green Economy
Renewable energy projects now reduce inflation as capacity comes online. The North Sea Oil & Gas Licensing bill produces visible revenue. Five energy bills gain proper GDP and economic effects.
Expanded Help
New help sections cover PM stats & traits, Chief Whip Briefings, no-confidence votes, and lobbying. The fiscal section now explains welfare drift, the interest cascade, and term carry-over.

Govern deeper — and steadier. This update expands what happens inside
No. 10 and fixes a launch crash some players hit on the latest iOS.
WHAT'S NEW
• Your manifesto has teeth now. Pledges are tracked all term — the press,
the opposition, and your own backbenchers will hold you to what you
promised versus what you've actually delivered.
• Party activists turn up at PMQs to push you on the causes your members
care about.
• Take office mid-stream: inherit live projects like HS2 and decide
whether to back them or cancel them.
• More to govern with — 180+ bills including flagship ideological
legislation and policies you can revisit each term, a new NHS Workforce
programme, and richer lobbying where meetings come back around.
• Sharper world stage — leaders react to the specific topics you raise.
• Fresh writing throughout: new PMQs and press-conference questions,
hidden bill storylines, and callbacks to your own past decisions.
FIXES & POLISH
• Fixed a startup crash on some devices running the latest iOS.
• End-of-term report now counts manifesto and King's Speech pledges —
and your party alignment — correctly across multiple terms.
• "Hold the line" pledges (no VAT rise, NATO commitment, and the like)
no longer count as delivered before you've governed the term.
• Budget cancellation now confirms first, plus many smaller balance and
interface fixes.
Thanks for playing — your feedback shapes what comes next.
