What’s New Version 3.7.70
Prices now move in real time.
• Live quotes everywhere — US Market, Global, Most Traded, Sentiment, and Watchlist all show the latest traded price and today's move, refreshed continuously through the session. Pre-market and after-hours included.
• Charts end at now — row sparklines and every ticker chart from 1W to 5Y close on the freshest trade instead of yesterday's settle. The detail page quietly labels pre-market, after-hours, and closed sessions.
• 13F Research — a curated universe of institutional managers with quarterly holdings, movement cards, and a shareable FT-style quarterly brief.
• Risk Radar — a turbulence gauge that flags market-regime stress and danger-zone divergences before they make headlines.
• Search — one field over the full US-listed universe, 13F managers, and every screen in the app.
• Home-screen widgets — Liquidity, Sentiment, and Most-Traded tiles, Smart-Stack ready; tap any ticker to jump straight into its detail page.
• Faster everywhere — tabs stay warm, charts scrub without stutter, iPad gains adaptive grids with keyboard and pointer support, and VoiceOver reads charts and moves in both languages.

Description
MarketGrep is a market environment dashboard for self-directed investors. One percentile reading tells you where macro liquidity sits today. Ten purpose-built surfaces tell you what's moving and why.
WHAT IT DOES
• Liquidity Regime — The Dollar Liquidity Index (DLI), a composite of 12 macro indicators (Fed balance sheet, TGA, ON-RRP, SOFR spreads, HY credit spreads, VIX, Dollar Index, and more), distilled into one percentile and four regimes: Abundant, Supportive, Restrictive, or Tight. Band transitions flag the moment they happen, with a 10-year regime-colored history chart for the long view.
• Liquidity Signal Field — Policy, Funding, Credit, and Risk visualized as a live macro heat map so you can read tightening pressure before it shows up in asset prices.
• Risk Radar — A multivariate turbulence index (Mahalanobis distance across cross-asset returns) that catches regime shifts before they reach headline indices, with a Danger-Zone divergence alert when equity returns decouple from the broader risk signal.
• US, Global, and Commodities Markets — Exposure scoring, S&P 500 breadth, 52-week proximity, and sortable ticker tables across benchmarks, rates, commodities, FX, crypto, ADRs, and Treasury yields with curve chips. Touch any chart to scrub time × value with a velocity-tuned haptic.
• Most Traded — Top 50 by dollar volume, refreshed continuously. The board readers actually open at the bell.
• Sentiment Briefings — A twice-daily automated analysis of public discussion on high-quality popular investor communities (e.g. WSB), published before the open and after the close. Each report carries a community-wide mood score, the most-mentioned tickers, and verbatim quotes representing the day's themes. Quotes reflect the community, not MarketGrep.
• 13F Research — A curated universe of institutional managers (Berkshire, Tiger Global, Pershing Square, Baillie Gifford, and more) with per-quarter editorial briefs: hand-written one-liner + paragraph summary, AUM trajectory across quarters, top 10 holdings, new positions, largest adds, and largest reduces. Quarterly notes in both English and Chinese.
• Search & Watchlist — Search every global-listed ticker via the open universe, plus the 13F fund-manager catalog and the app's own indicators. Tap any holding to drill into ticker detail. Build a Watchlist with confirm-before-commit add.
• Editorial Share Cards — One-tap long-image share for any ticker or 13F manager. Cream in Light, warm charcoal in Dark, brass hairlines and the official MarketGrep mark.
• Home-Screen Widgets — Smart-Stack tiles for Liquidity regime, Sentiment mood, and Most-Traded leaders.
• Methodology Transparency — Every data product has a dedicated methodology page in Settings, explaining how the score is computed, what the signal reads as, and what its limits are.
• Editorial Design — Newsprint × terminal aesthetic. Serif hero numbers, monospaced data, brass editorial accents. Hand-tuned for both light and dark mode, calm enough for repeated reading during the trading day. Full English and Simplified Chinese, with curated company-name translations so familiar names read naturally in both.

13F Holding and Risk Radar - Browse curated institutional managers (Buffett, Situational Awareness, Pershing Square…) with hand-written quarterly notes, or watch the cross-asset turbulence index for early regime shifts. 13 Holding Detail can now share itself as a long editorial image.
Touch-to-scrub on every chart - Drag across the intraday tape, daily ticker history, Risk Radar turbulence, or the new Liquidity History bar chart to read time × value at any point, with a velocity-tuned haptic.
Open-universe search - Search now covers every Global market-listed ticke , plus the 13F fund-manager catalog. The Search tab is its own surface — lands focused so you can start typing immediately.
Build 885539722v2.72026-05-12 09:08:18
A daily clipping of US markets — liquidity, stocks, and sentiment, in one page.
Redesigned share cards. Full-screen Market Sentiment on iPad. Today's intraday % change now reads correctly.
Build 885083017v2.62026-04-29 17:05:14
Bigger screen, fewer taps.
• Made for iPad — Full-width iPads now show every tab across the
bottom: Liquidity, US, Global, Commodities, Most Traded, Sentiment,
Watchlist — all one tap away. iPhone (and compact iPad split views)
keeps the familiar four-tab bar plus More. Rotate or resize the
split and the strip rebalances itself; you never end up pointing at
a tab that disappeared.
• Multi-watchlist — Build as many lists as you want and pin the one
you actually trade. The pinned list is what every Watchlist surface
(tab, widget, search) reads from. Tap a ticker code to copy it.
• Code-format hint, on demand — The "how do I type a ticker?" tooltip
on the More page now appears the moment you tap into search,
instead of living permanently in the chrome. Quiet hand on the
shoulder, only when you reach for it.
• Welcome guide rewrite — First-launch sheet (and the Settings replay)
lead with an italic editorial sentence and tight bullets. Faster to
scan, calmer to read. Replay anytime from Settings → Help.
• Performance pass — Sorted ticker tables are stored as projections,
so re-entering Most Traded or US/Global paints instantly. Widget
refreshes have a per-key cooldown so the system stops reissuing the
same fetch.
Smaller polish: the Tab Layout card sits next to Display in More,
with copy that explains the iPhone/iPad split. Customization footer
reads bilingually.

Build 884670909v2.02026-04-20 02:03:17
iPad Support + Design polish + methodology transparency.
• New Sentiment Report methodology page — a dedicated section in Settings that explains how the twice-daily briefings are generated, how to read the mood score, the schedule, and the caveats. Also linked directly from the "i" info block at the top of the Sentiment tab.
• Sentiment teaser — the report header now surfaces the opening line of today's narrative while the body stays collapsed, so you get a quick read without opening the full quote block.
• Band-change ceremony — when the Dollar Liquidity Index crosses a regime boundary (Abundant → Supportive → Restrictive → Tight), the hero card briefly flashes with a brass accent and haptic, so you catch the transition in real time.
• Editorial typography — Chinese hero numbers now set in a Songti serif face, matching the English New York serif. Section labels tightened. Share cards lead with a newspaper-style dateline.
• Refined empty and error states — serif title, brass colophon, cleaner copy.
• Smoother scrolling — removed an always-on ambient animation that showed up as scroll lag on some devices.
