When we're not completely sure, we'll ask you to confirm before adding. Importing is faster and more reliable, with an import activity view so you can retry anything that didn't go through — plus stability and polish improvements throughout.

What's new
- Every button that does something over the network now shows a spinner and can't be tapped twice. This covers Continue with Google /
Apple, send message, share my live location, save / edit trip, save timeline item, save profile name, log out, and delete account.
- Delete trip and Leave trip now show a full-screen loading state while the action runs — no more staring at a frozen screen wondering
if it worked.
- When you save a change offline (edit trip, add or edit a timeline item), you now get a clear "Saved offline — will sync when online"
toast instead of silence.
- Removing someone from a trip now confirms with a toast so you know it went through.
- The sync dot on the home screen now lights up red when the background refresh fails, instead of failing silently.
Polish & localization
- Trip card images, avatars, and place photos decode at their display size — home screen feels snappier and uses less memory.
- Pictures that fail to load fall back to a clean initials badge instead of a broken-image icon.
- The remaining English-only bits (chat empty state, "Add to Timeline", timeline delete errors) are now translated to Portuguese and
Spanish.
Reliability
- Location-sharing setup no longer swallows permission errors — it's logged and the app stays stable if something goes wrong.
- Connectivity detection now always produces an initial value, even if the OS check throws on boot.
Behind the scenes
- Backend error logs are tighter and never dump full error objects (no more accidental leaks of tokens or env vars into logs).
- Push notifications for safety check-ins and email bookings now fan out in parallel and failures are logged rather than swallowed.
- Concierge AI errors now include the trip and user in the log line, so production issues are actually debuggable.
