What’s New Version 4.11

v4.11 goes significantly deeper: seven new analysis tiles, charging loss made visible per session, new time filters — and vehicle photos are now part of every backup. NEW — Seven New Analysis Tiles Five dashboard audit recommendations are live, with two additions: Measured Consumption (kWh), PV Share (%), Seasonal Efficiency, Time-of-Day Heatmap, and Charging Pattern by kWh are new. Added: rolling average price trend and a conditional wallbox break-even comparison — shown when wallbox sessions are present. The dashboard now tells you exactly what's happening with your charging. No more guessing. NEW — Charging Loss per Session A new toggle in Settings: "Show effective charging amount." When enabled, each session row shows how many kWh actually reached the vehicle — after deducting charging loss (AC: seasonal rate, DC: 2 % flat). The basis for cost per 100 km, finally visible. NEW — Previous Quarter and Previous Month in Time Filter Two new options in the time period picker: Previous Quarter and Previous Month. Direct comparison with the closed period — no manual date selection needed. NEW — Backups Include Vehicle Photos Export format switches to ZIP: SQLite snapshot plus photos folder. Vehicle images are no longer lost on restore or device migration. Improved - Number format: decimal separator now follows device locale, not app language - Potential Energy: session grouping for mixed-source and multiple home-charge entries - Potential Energy: outlier protection and warning above 80 % efficiency - Cost per 100 km (R02): last-charge reference model corrected - Charging Efficiency (N06): upper limit capped at 100 % - Forecast: active time filter now applied correctly - Light mode tiles: noticeably stronger contrast (WCAG AA compliant) - Forecast tile: now tappable with calculation detail sheet - Analysis: all Profitability sections now tappable with formula and input values - macOS dashboard: all tiles wired with drill target Questions or feedback: support@torecon.de Privacy: https://chargescope.ai/privacy Terms: https://chargescope.ai/terms

Description

Do you really know what your EV costs per charge? You charge at home, at your wallbox, at public stations, sometimes with solar power from your own panels — each at different prices, with different losses, from different sources. evChargeScope brings it all together. Not as a spreadsheet. As an analytics dashboard that answers. The dashboard — what's really happening with your charging: - Measured consumption (kWh, mileage-weighted per vehicle) - PV share: how much solar power actually reached the battery - Seasonal efficiency — month by month over time - Time-of-day heatmap: when you charge most expensively - Cost per 100 km apportioned — not averaged, no distorted figures - Price trend with rolling average - Wallbox break-even comparison: does home charging actually pay off? - Calculation details on tap — every number explained Log sessions in seconds: Autofill for prices and providers, mileage plausibility check, PV share slider for mixed sessions. Effective charging amount visible per session — after charging loss deduction (AC: seasonal rate, DC: 2 % flat). The basis for cost per 100 km, made transparent. Analytics that answer questions: - Previous month, previous quarter, previous year — direct comparison, no date picking - Profitability: home charging (solar, grid) vs. public, fully separated - Rate comparison: what would a flat-rate plan cost at your usage pattern? - All analysis tiles tappable with formula and actual input values Multiple vehicles: Battery profile, target consumption, vehicle photo per vehicle. All KPIs aggregated by mileage weight — no false averages when vehicles have different usage intensity. Export and backup: PDF export for tax records and employer reimbursement. Backup as ZIP — including vehicle photos, no data lost on device migration. Your data. Your device. Your control: No account required. No tracking. No third-party sharing. All data stored locally on your device. Optionally synced through your personal iCloud — no external servers, no foreign cloud. Try free for two weeks (monthly) or one month (annual) — directly through the App Store, no account needed. Privacy: https://chargescope.ai/privacy Terms: https://chargescope.ai/terms

v4.10.1 sharpens the dashboard: configuration now takes effect reliably, calculations follow the active filter, and every tile explains itself on demand. NEW — Calculation Details on Tap Every dashboard tile and every analysis metric is now tappable. One tap opens a detail sheet showing the formula and the actual input values — total costs, consumption ratio, distance driven, whatever feeds into that number. No more guessing how a figure is calculated. Improved - Configuration: tiles and analysis sections now toggle on and off reliably - Monthly chart: most recent months are shown first — no scrolling required - Filters: all KPIs now correctly respond to vehicle and time period selection - Calculation details: labels and formulas appear in the app's active language Questions or feedback: support@torecon.de Privacy: https://chargescope.ai/privacy Terms: https://chargescope.ai/terms
Build 885951567v4.102026-05-21 20:21:45
Version 4.10 delivers what no other charging cost tracker shows: exactly how much power reached your battery — not just what the charger reported. And cost per 100km is finally calculated correctly. NEW — Charging Losses Power is always lost between the charger and your battery — how much depends on the season and charging type. Until now, this was invisible. With v4.10, you set seasonal AC loss values once (ADAC/DWD defaults are pre-filled) and a flat rate for DC fast charging. Both can be adjusted per month. From that point on, evChargeScope automatically calculates how much power actually reached your battery every time you log a session. NEW — Charging Efficiency in Your Dashboard A new tile on your dashboard shows your charging efficiency: the ratio of power billed to power actually delivered to your battery, in percent. No other tracking app surfaces this directly. NEW — Cost per 100km Finally Correct Until now, all charged energy went into the cost per 100km figure — including energy still sitting unused in your battery. This creates a systematic error, especially right after a charging session. From v4.10, evChargeScope uses apportionment: only energy actually driven flows into the efficiency figure, the rest is shown separately as potential. The number is now honest. NEW — Customise Your Dashboard and Analysis In Settings, you can now choose which tiles appear on your dashboard and which sections are shown in the analysis view. A sensible default is pre-selected — everything else is optional. Improved: - Forecast tile: now shows correct English text on English-language devices - Charging Losses: fields update visually immediately after "Reset all values" - Stability and detail improvements Questions or feedback: support@torecon.de Privacy: https://chargescope.ai/privacy Terms: https://chargescope.ai/terms
Build 885899872v4.9.22026-05-20 17:50:55
Version 4.9.2 fixes two sync bugs and polishes number input fields and the backup confirmation. Fixed — iCloud Sync If a device went offline and recorded multiple charging sessions before reconnecting, the second device would typically pick up only the first entry — the rest got stuck silently. The cause was in the timestamp logic during sync: it unintentionally blocked its own freshness check. Fixed. Also: when the same entry was edited on two devices simultaneously, the record could enter an unresolvable conflict and stop syncing until the app was restarted. Conflicts are now resolved immediately using last-write-wins. Fixed — Decimal Separator In number input fields (cost, charge amount, vehicle profile, provider price), the app showed a decimal point instead of a decimal comma after switching the app language from English to German. Fields now follow the chosen app language. Fixed — Backup Confirmation After tapping "Back Up Now" in Settings, there was no visible confirmation. The app now shows a brief success message when the backup completes. Build 885774958v4.9.12026-05-18 15:42:34
The English App Store listing is now called evChargeScope. The app itself remains the same — your data, settings, and subscription are unchanged. The new name makes the purpose clearer in English: tracking EV charging at a glance, with the scope to break it down by source. Version 4.9.1 is also a patch for the v4.9 wave — fixes at three spots found during the live test, plus a test foundation as regression protection for future releases. Fixed: - Filter banner and tariff comparison in English: in the Economic view, the words "Gefiltert:" and "/Monat" stayed in German even when the app was set to English. Both now follow the chosen app language. - Provider overview respects the vehicle filter: in the Economic view, the provider table showed all providers across the entire portfolio, even when only a specific vehicle was selected. The overview is now consistent with the total. - Subscription page in English: the access-and-subscription screen now shows the plan names, descriptions, and prices in English when the app is set to English. Improved: - iPad sidebar: better VoiceOver labels and more stable automated tests. - Test foundation: unit and UI tests for the critical paths sheet cancel, economic filter, and sync recalc. The app now catches future regressions automatically — the same bugs should not happen twice. - Cloud sync: km performance is now calculated locally from each device's km-reading history instead of being synchronized across devices. Avoids conflicts during backup restores. Thanks for your feedback after the v4.9 release! Build 885759740v4.92026-05-17 00:26:16
Version 4.9 is a major wave: the app now speaks English end-to-end, a new charge-source tracker cleanly separates PV, home wallbox, public, and mixed charging, and macOS gets a classic File menu with keyboard shortcuts. What's new: NEW — App fully available in English. If your iOS or macOS device is set to English, eLadung is now fully in English — previously only the App Store descriptions were. The app language can be switched any time in Settings (German, English, or follow the system), no restart required. NEW — Charge-source tracking. When recording a charging session, you now choose the source: PV system, home wallbox (grid), public, or mixed. For mixed charging you set the PV share with a slider — the entry is automatically split into two database records (PV and grid, each with its stored price). Economic analysis and charge-mix statistics stay cleanly separated. NEW — Separate "kWh into the vehicle" and "kWh paid from the grid". For an honest consumption calculation, the app now distinguishes between the energy that actually reached the car and what you paid for. kWh/100km in the dashboard and economic view use "into the vehicle"; costs use "paid". NEW — File menu on macOS. Classic macOS keyboard shortcuts: ⌘N for a new charging session, ⌘O for import, ⇧⌘E for database export, ⌘B for backup, ⇧⌘R for backup restore. NEW — Sync pauses are transparent. If no active subscription is running, the upload pauses automatically and a small banner appears on the dashboard. Pull stays active so devices on the same iCloud account keep exchanging data. Improved: - Dashboard and economic view now use the source information from charge-source tracking (home vs. external are differentiated by source, not just by provider). - macOS paywall: Privacy and Terms links now visible directly in the subscription area. - iPad: readable-content width limit (~900pt) rolled out to Settings, Vehicles, Providers, and Tariff models — no more "lost in the open space" effect. - Touch targets in the dashboard banner increased to 44×44pt (Apple HIG). - macOS sidebar regrouped by workflow (Main / Master data / Settings). - Better keyboard shortcut consistency with macOS conventions (⇧⌘E instead of ⌘E, ⇧⌘R instead of ⌘R). - Small inconsistencies in language localization fixed (weekdays, KPI labels, provider names "PV system" and "Grid"). Build 885517466v4.8.22026-05-11 21:41:35
Version 4.8.2 is a small wave of improvements based on real-world feedback from the first days with v4.8.1. Four issues that came up in daily use — now fixed. What has been fixed: - A clear first-run experience for new users. If you install the app fresh and tap "New charging session", you now see an onboarding hint with direct buttons for adding a vehicle and a charging provider — instead of an empty form where the Save button silently stayed disabled. Once the required master data exists, you go straight to the entry form. - Gross price per kWh is preserved when editing a charge. Previously, opening an existing charging session overwrote the stored gross price with the provider's current default — so if you just wanted to add a note, your historical price was lost. When editing, all previously entered values are now kept unchanged; auto-fill from the provider only triggers when creating a new entry. - Deleting from the charging list is more direct. Swipe left and tap "Delete" — that's it. The extra confirmation prompt is gone, because the swipe is already a deliberate action (Apple HIG pattern). If you swipe by accident, you still catch yourself before the tap. - Hints on the empty dashboard and the empty charging list are now more direct. Instead of a confusing reference to a tab, you now see a clear button "Add charging session" that takes you straight to the entry form — on iPhone and on iPad. Build 885459075v4.8.12026-05-10 18:44:45
Version 4.8.1 is a stability pass after the large v4.8 release. Fixes issues that surfaced in real-world use. What has been fixed: - Vehicle photos now sync reliably across all your devices. In v4.8 the photo was stored locally but not reliably propagated to iPhone, iPad, and Mac via iCloud. With v4.8.1 the image sync works as intended. If you set a vehicle photo in v4.8: open the profile once and save again — afterwards the photo also appears on your other devices. - New-entry sheet exits cleanly again: When entering a new charging session, the Cancel button now reliably dismisses the sheet, even after a text field has already been active. In v4.8 the sheet sometimes stayed open in this situation. - iPad layout polished: Several smaller improvements to the iPad layout from v4.8. Dashboard and charging list now share the same filter behaviour, the layout uses two columns instead of three (more room for content), settings sub-screens are responsive again, and master data (vehicles, providers, tariffs) are reached via settings — pending the full detail-pane refactor in an upcoming version. Build 885414757v4.82026-05-08 14:35:42
Version 4.8 is the biggest update since launch: a completely rethought filter, personal vehicle photos, and an iPad layout that finally looks like an iPad app instead of an upscaled iPhone. New in this version: - Vehicle filter, rethought: Dashboard, charging list, and economics view now share one consistent multi-select filter. A pill in the header shows at a glance what is filtered — the vehicle name when exactly one is selected, "Multiple vehicles" when two or more, "All vehicles" when nothing is restricted. Tap the pill to toggle vehicles individually with checkboxes. Each of the three views remembers its own selection. - Vehicle photo in profile: Add a photo of your vehicle directly in the profile editor — straight from your photo library. The image appears as a small avatar inside the filter pill (when only that vehicle is selected) and next to every entry in the charging list. You can scan at a glance which entry belongs to which vehicle. Images are stored locally with optimised size and synced securely across your devices via iCloud. - iPad-native layout: eLadung GO now uses a real two-column navigation on iPad — sidebar on the left, full-width content on the right. Dashboard and economics view render their contents in two columns: overviews on the left, charts and tables on the right. The iPad screen is finally used properly. The iPhone look is unchanged; on iPad everything is more readable and faster to reach. - Values right on the chart: The bar charts on the dashboard now annotate every bar with its value (km, kWh, EUR) — no need to tap to see the magnitude. - New-entry sheet exits cleanly: While entering a new charging session, a Cancel button now resets the form and dismisses the keyboard, even while a text field is active. - Notes capped: The notes field per session is now limited to 200 characters with a live counter underneath. Existing longer notes are preserved. - Settings cleanup: "Redeem code" only appears under the subscription section now — no more duplicate entry in settings. We recommend v4.8 for every iPad user and anyone managing more than one vehicle. Build 885183636v4.7.12026-05-02 18:55:10
Version 4.7.1 is a hotfix for users who, after upgrading to v4.7, suddenly saw no charging entries or noticeably fewer than before. Your data was still fully present in iCloud — only the local sync state slipped into a half-step on some devices. Fixed in this version: - Stable iCloud synchronization after the v4.7 upgrade: the push-subscription migration now runs atomically. If one step fails, the entire migration retries cleanly on the next app launch — no more half-dead state in which a device stops receiving new data. - Fresh pull on sync migration: after the upgrade, all cloud data is loaded once from scratch. Display gaps caused by a stale pull state are gone. - New "Repair Sync" button in Settings: if your device still shows no or too few entries while other devices are complete, you can reset the sync state with a single tap and reload everything fresh from iCloud. Local data is preserved — only the connection to iCloud is rebuilt. - Auto-backup after upgrade defused: automatic backups now wait until the initial iCloud bootstrap is complete. No more conflict between backup creation and data bootstrap right after an app update. We recommend v4.7.1 for everyone running eLadung on three or more Apple devices in parallel. Build 885115455v4.72026-04-30 19:48:58
Version 4.7 makes eLadung GO noticeably more polished — and unlocks an automatic iCloud Drive backup for Premium users. What's new in this version: - Automatic backup to iCloud Drive (Premium): pick daily, weekly or monthly. Your data is saved in the background and available in the Files app across all your Apple devices. Restore with a single tap right from Settings. - Reliable sync across three or more devices: if you use eLadung on iPhone, iPad and Mac in parallel, changes now arrive consistently on every device. Background synchronization hardened. - Charge entry recognizes your vehicle: when adding a new charge, the odometer reading is now drawn from the most recent entry of your active vehicle — even with multiple vehicles in your profile. - Precise list ordering: multiple charges on the same day are now sorted by odometer reading and shown in the correct order. - Settings tidied up: dedicated sections for subscription, redeem code, share app, legal and about. Device identifier surfaced for support. - iPad polish: lists and analytics are easier to read in landscape mode, content centered for comfortable use. - Clear status at startup: on first launch, dashboard and list show a sync indicator instead of a restart hint. If iCloud is unavailable, an actionable message appears. - Stability: sync path and database transactions hardened, conflict resolution improved. Build 884878428v4.6.52026-04-24 19:21:02
Sync further hardened This update improves iCloud sync between iPhone and Mac. The app now detects automatically when a device's sync connection needs to be renewed — for example after several reset operations in quick succession — and re-establishes it on its own. Entries and backup restores reliably reach the partner device as a result. Local data is preserved. Recommended after this update: - Open the app on both devices in turn with an active internet connection, and wait a few seconds each time. Sync will recover silently in the background. - If data is still missing afterwards, restoring the last known backup on one device is enough. The restored data then reliably propagates to the partner device.
Build 884821279v4.6.42026-04-23 20:31:08
Sync fix - After restoring a backup, all records are now reliably sent to your other devices. - Local changes that could not be uploaded in v4.6.3 due to a sync bug will be caught up automatically with this update — no action required on your part. Background In v4.6.3, restoring a backup could leave the recovered charging sessions, providers, vehicles and tariffs visible locally but not synced to your second device (iPhone or Mac). Individually created charging sessions were not affected and synced normally — only full restores had this gap. v4.6.4 closes that gap. On the first launch after the update, the app automatically catches up any pending sync operations. Your data arrives on all devices. If you suspect that a sync is incomplete: open the app on both devices in turn, with an active internet connection, and wait a few seconds each time. The sync will complete silently in the background.
Build 884796852v4.6.32026-04-22 19:44:33
Major improvements to iCloud sync, backup restore and management: • Full backup restore: importing a backup now restores all your data — charging sessions, providers, vehicles, profiles and tariff models. Previously only sessions were imported. • New "Delete all data" option in Settings: resets eLadung to an empty initial state (locally and in iCloud). Ideal before restoring a backup or switching devices. • Tariff models in the sidebar: tariff model management is now directly accessible from the main menu — previously it was only reachable via the Cost Analysis view. • Subscription code redemption fixed: the button in "Access & Subscription" now reliably opens the Mac App Store with the code input window. • Significantly more robust iCloud sync: no more data duplication on import, automatic recovery when another device has been reset, protection against accidental loss of provider and vehicle entries. • Live sync across Mac, iPhone and iPad: changes now appear immediately on all connected devices. Thank you for your patience with the sync issues in v4.6.1. If you were affected: re-import your April 21 backup — this time you'll get everything back.
Build 884761584v4.6.12026-04-21 20:02:45
Version 4.6.1 — Polish and a new licensing model Based on your feedback, we've fixed a batch of small UX issues — and fundamentally simplified the licensing model. Fixes from user reports • Cross-promo app icons in Settings now display correctly (an asset configuration issue caused logos to fall back to generic symbols on Retina @3x devices). • Time filter on Dashboard, List, and Economics: clear dropdown menu instead of a cramped segmented picker that truncated to initials on narrower iPhones. • Dashboard on first launch: if iCloud sync is still running and no local data is available yet, a clear hint now explains this — with a restart tip if needed. Same hint in the charging list. • KPI cards: long titles like "Savings vs. combustion engine" now fit cleanly without breaking grid symmetry. • Vehicle comparison now respects the active time and provider filter — you see per-vehicle data for the selected period, not lifetime values. • Empty macOS list? Now shows a clear empty state with a "Create new charging record" call-to-action button instead of a blank table. • Swipe-to-delete in the tariff model list: consistently red. • iOS input sheet: opens at medium height (drag up for full height) — quicker entry without taking over the full screen. • Comparison parameter editor: explicit "Save" button in the top right. No more implicit saving while typing. • Cold start: no more duplicate CloudKit sync cycle — faster launch, less battery. New licensing model The previous 100/200-day free mode is gone. In its place, Apple's Introductory Offer: • Monthly plan — first 2 weeks free • Yearly plan — first month free • One-time purchase (Lifetime) — no trial, as before Introductory offer valid through 2026-12-31. The trial is offered directly in the App Store purchase dialog — eLadung no longer asks you about a "free period". Cancel before the trial ends and no charge applies. Without an active plan you can still view, analyze, export, and import your charging history — only creating new records requires an active plan. Thanks to every tester for the detailed reports — almost everything here comes straight from your feedback.
Build 884730210v4.62026-04-20 22:34:40
Version 4.6 is the "both devices, one dataset" release. iCloud sync between iPhone and Mac Charging entries, vehicles, providers and tariffs now sync automatically through your own iCloud account — no server, no third party. Log a charge at the plug on your iPhone, later build the report on your Mac. Lists and dashboards refresh live as soon as changes arrive from the other device. More robust database import Importing an existing .db file from iCloud Drive now works even when the file hadn't been downloaded locally yet. UX polish • Swipe-to-delete is correctly red again (with full swipe) • The Mac dashboard reads in the same order as the iPhone: total cost, energy charged, avg consumption, cost/100 km, kilometers driven, charging sessions … • Small fixes in filter pickers and input validation Under the hood More robust sync logic (no more "zombie reappearance" when one device deletes and the other edits at the same time) and a foreground safety-net poll so changes still arrive when Apple's silent push hiccups.
