What’s New Version 1.0.4
* Adding a restaurant's online menu is easier now — the app shows step-by-step tips for finding the Uber Eats link, plus a one-tap search button.
* When a restaurant search comes up empty, it's no longer a dead end: add the place yourself (its name is filled in for you) or tap "Search by name instead" to find restaurants anywhere by name — even ones you've never saved. A quick "add manually" link also sits beneath your search results.
* Not sure what to log? We now suggest popular dishes for the cuisine when a place has no menu yet — tap to add.
* Fixed the "Fetch Online Menu" dialog sometimes showing a link you'd copied for a different restaurant.
* Deleting a menu image now works while you're offline too — it finishes syncing once you're back online, and you'll get a clear message if a delete genuinely fails.
* Menu photos now live in one simple gallery — add up to 4 per restaurant, see at a glance whether we've read the menu from each photo, and ask us to take another look if we got it wrong.
* Fixed pasting some Uber Eats menu links.
Description
My Food Rating is the personal food journal that remembers every meal, every dish, and every "we have to come back here."
Whether you eat out twice a year or four times a week, My Food Rating turns your meals into a private, searchable history of your taste — so you stop forgetting which place had that incredible burger and which one wasn't worth the wait.
RATE THE PLACES YOU VISIT
Add any restaurant in seconds. Capture the name, cuisine, and date — and give the visit an overall star rating you'll actually remember.
RATE THE DISHES, NOT JUST THE PLACE
A great restaurant isn't every dish. Log what you ordered — starter, main, side, dessert, or drink — and give each item its own rating. Over time you'll build a personal menu of dishes worth ordering again, and the ones to skip.
CAPTURE PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING
Snap the dish, the menu, the dining room. Every photo attaches to the visit and stays organized automatically.
WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No signal in that basement spot? No problem. Log visits, rate dishes, and add photos without a connection. Everything syncs the moment you're back online — nothing is lost.
DISCOVER WHAT'S NEARBY
Search for restaurants near you to find new places to try, or check ratings for the spot you're already walking past.
SEARCH YOUR ENTIRE FOOD HISTORY
Looking for that place with the great pasta, or the wine bar your friend recommended? Search across every restaurant, dish, and note you've ever written.
YOUR FOOD AT A GLANCE
A clean home screen with your total visits, unique restaurants, average rating, top-rated meals, and the places you've eaten most recently.
A CHRONOLOGICAL JOURNAL
Scroll back through months — or years — of meals. Photos, ratings, and notes in one place.
FAST, SECURE SIGN-IN
Sign in with Apple in one tap, or unlock the app with Face ID or Touch ID. Your account stays private and synced across your devices.
PRIVATE AND YOURS
No social feed. No public reviews. No ads. Your taste, your data, your personal guide to eating well.

Build 886814238v1.0.22026-06-11 19:19:35
- Menu photos you add now save even when you're offline and upload automatically once you're back online — and your menu-photo gallery stays in sync across screens.
- When we spot a likely Uber Eats menu for a restaurant, you can confirm it with one tap — or tell us it's not the right place.
- Fixed a crash when adding a dish to a restaurant while online.
- The offline indicator now also appears before you sign in, so you'll know you're offline on the login and sign-up screens.
- Deleting your account now also fully removes your data from this device, even if the deletion happened on another device.
- Edits, favourites, and added places made on a flaky connection are now saved and synced automatically once you're back online.
- Fixed nearby restaurant search showing an error instead of results.
- Fixed Google sign-in on Android getting stuck in the browser instead of returning to the app.
- Made app startup after updates more resilient.
- Fixed a rare issue where changes made while offline could be lost when your journal refreshed.
- Photos you delete on one device now disappear from your other devices too.
- Signing out now clears any active rating filter on your journal, so a previous account's filtered entries no longer stay on screen.
- Improved screen-reader support across the add button, menus, dialogs, and journal navigation.
