This is the largest update Little Way has ever received.

THE VIGIL
The Chapel of Intercession is now a candlelit vigil. Six shrines: the High Altar, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Therese, the Sacred Heart, St. Joseph, and Our Lady of Sorrows. Every intention is a votive candle; the neglected burn low, waiting for you. Tap a candle to pray.
ASK, AND BE PRAYED FOR
- Place your own intention at a shrine and receive word when strangers pray for you

Description
Pray before you scroll.
When you reach for Instagram, TikTok, or whatever pulls you in, Little Way pauses it and asks you to pray a Hail Mary first — for a real person who asked the world for prayer. Pray, and a flower blooms in their garden. Then your app opens.
It's the Catholic way to redeem your screen time: the scroll becomes a small act of love. St. Thérèse reached the whole world in prayer without ever leaving her convent — now you can, from the one place you already are.
PRAYER SHIELD
Choose the apps that pull you in. When you open one, pause and pray a Hail Mary for a soul who needs it — your prayer waters their bouquet. No streaks, no guilt. (Requires Screen Time access. A premium feature.)
CHAPEL OF INTERCESSION
Pray for others — and be prayed for. Lift up strangers in need, and post your own intention for anyone you carry. A community of people who pray before they scroll will carry it: each time someone reaches for their phone, they pray for a soul in the Chapel, and a flower blooms in the garden. You'll watch it grow, and know you were never praying alone. Anonymous or named, God knows every heart.
And the shield is just the doorway. Little Way is a whole quiet Catholic life — the little way to becoming a saint, one small act of love at a time.
Begin each morning by offering a small act of love. Carry it through your day. Close the night with a gentle examen that names tomorrow's small act. That simple rhythm, easy enough to actually keep, is the heart of Little Way.
Built on the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her "little way" of doing small things with great love, the app gives your faith a gentle daily shape: a morning offering to begin, flowers (small acts of love) gathered through the day, and a nightly examination of conscience to close the loop and prepare your heart for confession.
It is free to pray, with no ads and nothing you need for daily prayer locked away.
SPIRITUAL BOUQUETS
Gather flowers for anyone: a living soul, a beloved departed, or a special intention. Seven flowers plus Holy Masses, Holy Hours, and candles.
NIGHTLY EXAMEN
Gratitude. Review. Virtue focus. A closing prayer matched to your spiritual state. Set your intention for tomorrow and wake to it as your Morning Offering.
PRAY THE ROSARY
A beautiful, interactive rosary. Today's mysteries are always free. Earn the Mystical Rose by praying a full rosary for someone you love.
PREPARE FOR CONFESSION
Examine your conscience through the Little Way, guided by St. Thérèse, not a dry checklist. Eight areas of your life. Prompts for your state of life. A step-by-step confessional guide. Go from the heart or write it on a notecard. Post-confession thanksgiving included. Your examination never leaves your device.
DAILY SPIRITUAL LIFE
• Morning Offering with Scripture, Thérèse quote, and your intention
• 13 virtues with daily teachings from Thérèse's life
• Story of a Soul: 80 daily excerpts with reflection prompts
• Gospel Encounter with the daily reading
• Liturgical calendar, feast days, and Traditional Latin Mass propers
"I want to spend my heaven doing good upon the earth." -- St. Thérèse

WHAT'S NEW
The biggest update since launch — new ways to pray, a calmer home screen, and a beautiful fit on iPad.
Pray as a family
The new Family Examen is a gentle bedtime rhythm for parents and children — name the day's small graces together, pray for one another, and carry a saint's holy card into the morning. A simple way to form little hearts in the Little Way.
A new guide in Explore: Fr. Réginald Garrigou-Lagrange
One of the Church's great spiritual masters now helps you discern your "predominant fault" — the one root habit whose healing changes everything — and keep a quiet monthly account of how the fight is going. Thérèse's Little Way, given a firmer spine.
The Rosary, right on your home screen
Today's mysteries are now a single tap away the moment you open the app — no digging required.
Made for iPad
A refreshed full-width layout and a centered reading column make the whole app feel at home on the larger screen.
A daily rhythm from day one
Setting up the app now lets you choose your morning time and gentle reminders, so the Little Way joins your day from the very start.
Plus Apple Watch reliability fixes, more of St. Thérèse's own words throughout, and the usual polish.

Follow the Mass
A page-by-page walkthrough of the Traditional Latin Mass. Each step names what the priest is doing, his interior disposition, and the theology beneath the action — drawn verbatim or in tight paraphrase from Lasance, St. Andrew's Daily Missal, and the 1962 rubrics, never invented. Posture cues for the layperson on every page, with pastoral notes where parish practice meaningfully varies.

The Home has been refreshed.
Today's Little Way greets you first when you open the app:
a virtue to live, a small act of love named for tomorrow,
and the people you've promised to carry. A daily reading
from Thérèse waits beside today's Gospel.
Also new:
• Be Still, a one-tap practice for moments of temptation
• Liturgical gold on feast days
• A gentler look for your gardens
• Small visual refinements throughout
Build 884859453v1.1.32026-04-23 18:05:40
Small refinements to the short prayer screen. Each prayer now rests on a soft, breathing surface so its tappable nature is clear from the first moment — tap it as many or as few times as your heart needs. The invitation sits above the prayer so the rhythm reads at a glance, with little petals rising for each one offered.
Build 884744177v1.1.12026-04-22 10:09:26
Be Still
A short prayer practice for moments of temptation or interior agitation. Pairs a guided breath with a rotating pool of classical Catholic prayers, and ends with an optional hidden offering for a specific soul. Built around the Theresian image of Jesus asleep in the little barque.
My Carmel
A private, on-device list of souls you carry in prayer. Includes a new Commend to the Father ceremony for gracefully completing a season of intercession when the storm has passed.
The Confession Bridge
For seven days after confession, the nightly examen surfaces one focused formative prompt tied to the specific matter you confessed. Rooted in St. Ignatius's particular examen. Your responses are never stored.
Expanded Confession Prep
21 Catechism citations added as tap-to-expand explanations for prompts using technical Catholic terminology. Plus a Find a Catholic Church button and a new Named, not weighed teaching card on the distinction between naming acts and judging persons.
Why We Cannot Sit Still
A new three-teaching Explore arc on acedia, rash judgment, and charitable correction. The first teaching is free.
Weekly Invitation, with a carrying state
The Home card that offers one Theresian commitment per week now persists through the week instead of disappearing after you commit to it.
Siri Shortcut and Control Center Tile for Be Still
Invoke the practice with your voice or a single tap from anywhere on your device.
Plus new daily teachings on custody of the tongue, additional intention suggestions for the nightly examen, a growing pool of Theresian aspirations, and dozens of small refinements across the app.
Build 884817454v1.1.22026-04-22 22:18:45
A new Surrender step in the nightly Examen, between Offering and Tomorrow. A quiet place to ask Where is God asking me to let go? — a worry, a grip, a plan you're holding too tight. In keeping with Thérèse's Little Way.
Build 884568790v1.1.02026-04-16 14:01:50
Version 1.1.0
What's new:
- Onboarding rework — Your first bouquet now creates a prayer page others can join. After planting your intention, you can invite someone to pray with you right away.
- Feast day teachings — 66 bespoke feast teachings throughout the liturgical year. On feast days, a card appears on your home screen with the saint's story, their connection to Thérèse, and a
practical act for the day. Tap to read the full teaching.
- Feast-aware prayer — Your Morning Offering, Examen, and Rose Journal now surface the day's feast when one falls, weaving the liturgical calendar into your daily rhythm.
- Feast notifications — Opt in to receive a gentle 7 AM notification on the seven feasts Thérèse held dear. Enable in Settings under Feast Days.
- Pin bouquets — Swipe right on any bouquet to pin it to the top of your list. For the intentions you carry every day.

What's New in 1.0.5
Prepare for Confession
A new mercy-centered examination of conscience guided by St. Thérèse. Walk through eight areas of your life with prompts personalized to your state of life, or
simply reflect from the heart. Includes a step-by-step confessional guide, two Acts of Contrition (traditional and Theresian), and post-confession thanksgiving
prayers with Psalm 103. Your examination never leaves your device and is erased after absolution.
Holy Week
Good Friday now displays the complete Liturgy of the Presanctified — the Readings, Solemn Intercessions, Veneration of the Cross with the Improperia and Crux
Fidelis, and Communion from the Presanctified. Palm Sunday and other Holy Week propers also display correctly.
Chapel of Intercession
- Flower summary updates immediately after offering a rosary or prayer
- "See all" now shows the correct number of active intentions
Notifications
- Batched chapel and garden notifications instead of individual pings
- Contemplative landing screens with Thérèse quotes when tapping notifications
- Fixed cold-start notification routing
Examen
- 20-25 fresh intention suggestions per virtue for tomorrow's intention

Build 883958290v1.0.42026-04-02 19:46:12
What's New
Your Bouquet Has Bloomed
When your Chapel of Intercession intention completes after seven days of prayer, a celebration card now appears on your home
screen. Tap "See the roses" to watch the flowers that were offered for your intention shower down — each one representing a real
prayer from a real soul.
Save to Treasures in Heaven
Bloomed bouquets can now be saved to your Treasures archive. A lasting reminder of the prayers that carried you.
Pray for Those Who Prayed for You
A new reciprocal prayer loop throughout the app. After your bouquet blooms, you can start a personal bouquet for "The souls who
prayed for Mom" — praying back for the strangers who carried you. This action appears across the Chapel of Intercession, Prayer
Pages, and Gardens.
Contributor Acknowledgment
If you prayed for someone's intention and it bloomed, you'll receive a gentle notification with a St. Thérèse quote honoring
your hidden act of love. The Bloomed tab now shows a "You prayed" badge on intentions you helped carry.
Garden Bouquet Offerings
Garden members can now offer a bouquet for everyone in their garden. When offered, an anonymous announcement appears in the
garden feed: "A soul in this garden offered a bouquet for all of you." The act stays hidden. The love doesn't.
Build 883887301v1.0.32026-03-29 15:00:56
v1.0.3 — Sharing & flow improvements
- Bouquet share images now include subtle app branding footer
- Added share text ("These little flowers were gathered for you with love.") alongside bouquet image
- Post-share confirmation screen with copyable follow-up message
- Garden invite text refined for warmth
- Intercession bloom share messages now correctly use second person ("you")
- Smart navigation timing: snappy when already at home, settled when popping deep nav stacks
- Morning Offering completion triggers DailyRhythmCard fade-in (matches Examen pattern)
- Bloom celebration dismissal auto-switches to Bloomed tab
Build 883842113v1.0.12026-03-28 12:45:03
What's New in Version 1.0.1
Your bouquet has bloomed.
When you place an intention in the Chapel of Intercession, strangers walking the Little Way carry it in
prayer for 7 days. When the week is complete, your spiritual bouquet blooms — a shower of roses showing
every prayer, rosary, sacrifice, and act of love that was offered.
Bloom Celebration
A beautiful flower shower animation plays when your bouquet blooms, using the actual flower types from your
bouquet. Send the bloomed bouquet directly to the person you prayed for — so they can see how many
strangers carried them.
Carry Someone in Prayer
Contributors now receive a gentle notification when a bouquet they helped carry has bloomed — quiet
confirmation that their hidden act bore fruit.
Saved Bouquets
Heart-save any intention from the Chapel feed. Saved bouquets sync across your devices and live in a
dedicated tab alongside Active and Bloomed.
Prayer Pages
Creators can now scatter flowers on their own Prayer Pages — lead by example alongside those who join you.
A new "Scatter the first flower" prompt appears right after creation.
Improved Sharing
Share text across the app has been refined with warmer, more personal language. Bloomed bouquets are framed
as gifts to send to the person you prayed for, not trophies to display.
Time window fix (both platforms):
- Hours 0–3:59 AM now treated as evening instead of morning
- So at midnight you'll see "Gather the day" / examen prompt, not "Good morning"
Build 883879760v1.0.22026-03-28 23:24:00
Bug fix: Tapping the afternoon card on the home screen now opens the Offer flow instead of a development screen. Font sizes and colors adjusted.
