What’s New Club Drives are here. You can now create, manage and join shared drives, with planned, live and ready-to-start sessions available from the Drive tab. Record a Drive is now smarter too. If you are near the start or end of an existing TrailUK lane, the app can suggest that lane first, so you can open lane navigation and record your progress against the known route instead of accidentally submitting it as missing. We’ve also simplified missing-lane submissions. The Drive screen now has clearer actions for recording a drive, uploading a GPX file for a missing lane, adding a condition report and checking upload status. This release also includes cleaner wording across the app, improved upload and sync messaging, better Library and Drive flows, and general usability refinements to make TrailUK easier to use out on the lanes.

What’s New in 1.17 TrailUK has had a major navigation and design refresh. Explore, Drive, Library and Profile have been rebuilt for a cleaner, more focused experience. Explore now opens with a richer visual layout, Editor’s Picks, improved lane discovery and map access. Drive now focuses on recording a trail, adding condition reports and managing uploads. Library has been tidied up with clearer sections for saved lanes, day plans, GPX overlays and driven log. Profile has been redesigned with a stronger trail summary, garage, clubs, friends and rank experience. Saved lanes now support folders, so you can organise lanes by trip, region or plan. GPX uploads and route evidence now show more clearly in Library and submissions. Lane reports can now be edited and resubmitted where needed. Map style handling has been improved across the app, including clearer map style previews. Clubs and friends have been simplified and renamed for a clearer community experience. Many pop-up pages now use more consistent close controls and swipe-to-dismiss behaviour. Fixed several layout, alignment and navigation issues across lane detail, submissions, profile and library screens. General reliability improvements, sync refinements and release polish.

Community safety has been improved with friends-only direct messages, better profile visibility controls and a safer Find Friends flow. The new TrailUK Development Plan lets users suggest changes, request new features, vote on what matters most, and see which ideas are under consideration, planned or completed. What To Test Please prioritise account creation first: Open the app fresh on different iPhone sizes. Check the welcome screen does not overspill left or right. Tap Create Account. Confirm all fields are visible and usable. Confirm the Terms of Service / Privacy Policy checkbox is tappable. Create a new account successfully. Sign out and sign back in to confirm the sign-in screen also fits correctly. Then test lane edit suggestions: Open a lane card. Use Suggest an edit. Add surface type and lane width. Submit the suggestion. As admin, open Lane Reviews. Confirm the lane name is clear. Approve the edit. Reopen the lane card. Check Lane Intelligence updates with the approved surface and width information. Also test general regression: Open several lane cards. Switch between Map, Intel, Reports, Photos and Q&A tabs. Check no lane card content is wider than the phone. Test Save Offline Data messaging. Test navigation launch. Test profile, garage and admin screens still open normally. Confirm no new horizontal clipping appears in forms, sheets, image views or admin panels.
