Description
Vaapenkort keeps your digital weapon cards, hunter license cards and membership cards locally on your iPhone.
Weapon cards:
- Scan QR codes with camera
- Import QR codes from images
- Import weapon cards from photos with automatic text recognition (OCR)
- Register weapon type, model, calibre and valid-to date
- Show a large QR code for inspection
- Edit and delete cards
- Valid/Expiring soon/Expired status
Hunter license cards:
- Scan the QR code from Brønnøysundregistrene
- Name, hunter number, paid period and hunting type stored on card
- Valid/Expired status
Membership cards:
- Import cards from DFS, NSF, NJFF and other shooting and hunting organisations
- Take a photo, choose from library or import PDF
- Automatic card image cropping
Privacy first:
- All data is stored locally on device
- Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode
- No user accounts
- No cloud sync
- No analytics or tracking
- QR payloads are encrypted at rest

This makes the app more reliable on devices where biometric authentication is not set up or cannot be used.
