Smarter sending for structured destinations
Afterthought now prepares notes more carefully for destinations that accept specific fields, including Todoist, Notion, Slack, Email, and Obsidian. It uses the fields each app can currently support and preserves anything else in the note body, making sends safer and more predictable.
Improved app handoff reliability
App handoff and URL-based sending is now more reliable for destinations such as Obsidian, Bear, Day One, and Things. When the destination app opens successfully, Afterthought now handles that as a successful handoff instead of leaving the note stuck or retrying unnecessarily.
Clearer delivery status
Notes now show more useful routing states, including when they are saved, sent, retrying, or need attention. Failed sends are easier to understand and less likely to appear stuck in processing.
Easier inbox review
New quick filters make it easier to switch between saved notes, sent notes, and action-oriented notes.
More control over cleanup
Settings now includes delete options for all notes, saved notes, or sent notes.
