aGram iOS — Version 1.2.1 Thank you to our beta testers. This release adds multiple accounts, a rebuilt conversation screen that's far smoother with VoiceOver, and a long list of accessibility and reliability fixes. Multiple accounts • Sign in to more than one Telegram account and switch between them in a tap from the chat list. • Every account stays live: you get real-time notifications for all of them — not just the one on screen — and the app badge adds up unread across accounts. • The first account is free; connecting more is a one-time in-app purchase. A smoother conversation • The conversation screen was rebuilt natively for rock-solid VoiceOver: initial focus lands on the right message, the view no longer jumps while you read, and your place holds when older messages load. • Swipe left or right to move message by message. Forums • Open a topic and land on its first unread message; the composer is available from the all-topics view. • "Delete for everyone" is back for group admins. Notifications • Tapping a notification opens precisely the right message — and the right account. • More reliable chat matching for incoming pushes. Sharing • A file shared from another app is sent as the file, not as a link to it. Accessibility and fixes • Voice messages no longer talk over VoiceOver; selecting messages and contacts is announced correctly. • Round video messages play again. • Selected folders no longer come up empty. aGram iOS — Version 1.2.0 is out Thanks to every beta tester who shaped these builds over the past few weeks — 1.2.0 is largely your work. It brings voice and group calls, a persistent audio player, system sharing, QR login, and a faster, more accessible app throughout. Calls • One-on-one calls are reliable: answer from the lock screen or with the app closed and get two-way audio, no more silence or drops after a brief interruption, and clean teardown instead of background battery drain. • Group voice chats (beta): join on a dedicated screen with speaker/Bluetooth routing, a participant list and tap-to-speak; admins can start and end. Note: group calls may not connect over some VPNs that block the audio path; one-on-one calls are unaffected. Voice and media • A mini-player above the tab bar whenever a voice note plays: play/pause/next, speed 0.75x–3x, plus lock screen, Control Center, AirPods and CarPlay. Voice notes can chain automatically. • Read texts aloud (Settings → Accessibility), in the detected language, with a per-language voice and adjustable rate, volume and pitch. • Auto-translate a chat (Telegram Premium): messages, captions, link previews and polls in your language. • Mixed photo-and-video albums now open fully in the viewer. Sharing and Saved Messages • aGram is in the iOS share sheet: send text, links, photos, videos or files from any app into a chat. • Your self-chat is now Saved Messages, pinned to the top, with one-tap "Save" on any message. In a conversation • Select several messages and forward, save or delete them together. • Reactions appear instantly, and you can remove your own. • "Go to source" on a forwarded message; "Mark as unread" across devices. Contacts • Contact cards shared in a chat now show the name and number and are read by VoiceOver, with "Add to contacts" from the card, a profile, or a new "Profile of …" action on any message — even without the person's phone number. Logging in • Log in by scanning a QR code from another device, and authorize a new device from Active Sessions. Forums • Topics load reliably, the unread separator and count match the topic you're in, and "Mark as read" clears every topic at once. Notifications • Tapping a notification lands precisely on the message — and in forums opens its own topic. Read state syncs across devices, and silent-push cases self-heal. VoiceOver and accessibility • Sent media is described properly (Photo; "Video, 2:33"; documents with size and upload progress), and file captions are read out. • New messages no longer interrupt VoiceOver while you read, the unread badge clears as you read, and focus stays put while you scroll. Performance • Much faster, cooler launch on large accounts — quicker to warm up, less battery, and VoiceOver responsive far sooner. Languages • Fuller coverage across all 13 supported languages. aGram iOS — Version 1.1.1 is out Thanks to everyone who reported bugs and shipped suggestions on the beta builds these past weeks: 1.1.1 is 80% your work. This release expands what you can do inside a conversation (full profile editing, channel comments, invites), hardens VoiceOver accessibility, and rewrites the scroll engine from the inside. Profile • Full editing from Settings → Profile: first name, last name, bio, username (with real-time availability check), birthday, profile photo with a face-aware square cropper. • Pick a personal channel to surface on your profile. Conversations • "View comments" on channel posts linked to a discussion group: one tap takes you into the comment thread where you can post text, voice notes, photos, videos, documents, or albums. All posts stay threaded under the original channel post. • Invite users to a group straight from the members sheet, if you have the right. The picker searches your contacts and by Telegram username. • Preview of a channel or group you haven't joined yet with a "Join" button at the bottom of the conversation. Bots • Bot custom keyboards (the buttons bots like @BotFather attach to their messages) render as buttons under the bubble; tapping sends the label as a regular text message. • Web App buttons open their URL in Safari instead of silently disappearing. • When a bot edits its message (async reply pattern), VoiceOver reads out the new version automatically. Audio and media • Carousel player for audio albums (multiple voice notes or audio files posted together) with per-track download progress. • Download progress also shown for photo and video attachments. • Audio file captions (text written alongside an audio file) are now read out by VoiceOver — they were silent before. VoiceOver / accessibility • Hyperlinks in messages: VoiceOver reads the visible label (not the raw URL), and each link is a distinct stop in the iOS Links rotor, openable with a single tap. • Pagination fix: on channels or groups with many unread messages, the toward-newer arrow now loads the next page correctly instead of stalling at the loaded window's edge. • Sender names render on the first VoiceOver swipe after a pagination — no more "Other" placeholder while the user record is still loading in the background. • Transient TDLib errors (network blips, flood waits) auto-retried with backoff before the offline banner surfaces. • Offline vs server error differentiated on the status banner, with a "Retry" button. • Bot inline-keyboard buttons reachable through the per-message rotor. • Initial focus locks once placed: no more rebound to the prior position when triple-finger scrolling. • Send permissions refined per media type (photo / video / document / voice / video note / poll): when the admin disallows videos, the attachment menu hides the video entry instead of waiting for a server-side rejection. Hardware keyboard • Shift+Return inserts a newline instead of sending. Links • tg:// and telegram:// schemes registered: opening an invite, proxy, or bot link from Safari opens aGram directly. Chat info • Links, media, and documents shared in the conversation are now reachable from the chat info sheet, in three tabs. Each row has rotor actions — "Open", "Play" (for videos), "Share" — so you don't have to drill into a visual menu. • Admin edit of group info, permissions, topics, and invite links for groups you administer. Under the hood • Conversation scroll engine rewrite: dropped flipped transforms, switched to a natural ascending layout, explicit FSM for VoiceOver focus. User-visible effect: fewer focus jumps, predictable scroll, better performance on heavily-loaded channels.

Privacy and security - Secret chats: end-to-end encrypted conversations with session banner, key verification, and optional biometric lock. - Secret-chat notifications appear as generic banners on the lock screen - the content never leaks. - Demo mode hides the "Create secret chat" option. Productivity - Scheduled messages: send at a specific time or "when the recipient is online". Calls - Audio route picker during an active call. - Minimize an active call into a top banner so the rest of the app stays usable. - Respects explicit user route choice and observes external route changes. Conversations - Rebuilt list architecture: no more viewport jumps after pagination, consistent behavior under VoiceOver. - Native iOS share sheet for media (replaces the Files-only export). - Shared media tabs (Links, Media, Documents) accessible from the chat info screen, with rotor actions to Open, Play or Share each item. - "Jump to quoted message" rotor action. - Channel admin posting permissions now respected end-to-end. This TestFlight update focuses on voice messages, notifications, and accessibility. VOICE MESSAGES • Voice notes now encode and decode in Telegram's canonical OGG Opus format, so they play identically on Android, Desktop, and Web. • New speech-to-text: a "Transcribe" action on every voice note produces an inline transcription. A dedicated VoiceOver rotor walks through every untranscribed note in the conversation and fires transcription as you scroll, so you can clear a voicemail backlog in one sweep. Transcripts are also announced aloud the moment they arrive, so focus never has to leave the cell. Telegram Premium is required beyond the free trial quota. • The screen stays awake while you record a voice message. • MP3 files shared as documents now play in the in-app audio player. NOTIFICATIONS • Notification tones now match the official Telegram iOS sounds: private chats, groups, and channels each get their own. • Per-chat and per-scope sound preferences sync automatically — muting a chat's sound on another device silences incoming pushes here, and default tones follow the scope settings you configure anywhere in Telegram. • Calling no longer overrides your custom notification tones. TELEGRAM PREMIUM • Your Premium subscription status is shown in Settings and as a small badge next to names (profile, conversation header, chat list). VoiceOver reads "Telegram Premium" as part of the name. Subscription management stays in the official Telegram app. ACCESSIBILITY • Fixed a long-standing crash that could hit the conversation view when a message album (grouped photos or videos) was on screen. • New VoiceOver rotor to walk conversation dates; Links and Transcribe rotors appear when relevant. • VoiceOver now reads a single terminal delivery status per message (sending / sent / read / listened). • Caption links on photos, videos, and GIFs are now reachable via the rotor. • Fixed an issue where re-opening a recent chat left VoiceOver stuck on the back button instead of the newest message. • Unknown senders resolve correctly in chat list and message labels. LANGUAGES • Arabic joins the list of fully supported languages (13 in total) — every screen and VoiceOver label. CONVERSATION RELIABILITY AND PERFORMANCE • Large chats open progressively and are capped to a rolling window of 500 messages to prevent out-of-memory crashes on older devices. • Channels now open on the latest message; the unread anchor uses the server's real boundary. • Forum topics load from a local cache and the correct topic is pre-selected when you open a chat from a notification. • Several TDLib decoding crashes on polls and forum history are now handled gracefully. OTHER • Active Sessions: failed terminations now surface the error instead of going silent. • "Show Online Status" toggle in Settings now actually writes to the server. • New Contacts tab with alphabetical sort.

This version introduces poll support, and polish the user experience by fixing some bugs.

Chat & Conversations - Opening a channel or group for the first time no longer shows an empty screen. aGram now properly tells Telegram to sync the history on first access — no need to leave and re-enter. - Typing in the message composer no longer causes the entire conversation to freeze. The text field is now isolated so each keystroke doesn't re-evaluate the whole view. - Scrolling in long conversations is significantly smoother — the per-bubble tracking that slowed things down has been replaced by a lightweight check on the last message only. - New messages in forum topics now appear in real time without leaving and re-entering the topic. - Service messages (joined, pinned, renamed, etc.) now show the user's name. - Braille keyboard no longer closes when you send a message — focus is re-asserted on the text field after send. Voice Calls - Incoming calls now connect reliably. Previously, call signaling data could be silently dropped when the app returned from background, leaving the call stuck on "Connecting" indefinitely. - Fixed silent calls where audio was not routed to any output (neither speaker nor earpiece) at call start. The audio feedback system was resetting the voice processing unit mid-setup. - Fixed calls dropping after ~42 seconds due to an audio session interruption triggered by a conflicting speaker override. - Answering a call no longer triggers 3-4 duplicate haptic vibrations. Connected feedback now fires once, at the right moment. Voice Messages & Audio - Previewing a proximity-recorded voice message before sending now works. Previously the file wasn't finalized properly and playback failed. - Audio no longer gets stuck on the earpiece after cancelling a proximity recording. - When a notification interrupts earpiece playback, the audio route and position are now restored correctly on resume instead of restarting from the beginning. - Magic Tap during standalone audio playback (MP3 documents) now correctly pauses instead of starting a recording. - The "Recording started" VoiceOver announcement no longer leaks into the recorded audio. VoiceOver - VoiceOver announcements are no longer silently dropped when VoiceOver is busy (typing, braille input). All announcements now use priority levels — high-priority ones interrupt, others queue. - Incoming and sent messages are announced in real time when a chat is open: "You say: ..." / "Name says: ...". - Opening a conversation with unread messages now anchors to the first unread, with a visible separator and VoiceOver focus on that message. - The scroll-to-bottom button now moves the VoiceOver cursor to the last message, not just the scroll position. - Duplicate VoiceOver stops for chat title + info button have been merged into one. Connectivity - TDLib no longer hangs indefinitely on "Connecting to Telegram" when the previous session's socket is dead. The restart now times out after 5 seconds. - The "Connecting to Telegram" banner no longer flashes on normal 2-3 second reconnections after returning from background. It only appears if the disconnection lasts more than 5 seconds. Under the Hood - EULA reporting section clarified: reports go to Telegram's moderation team, not ours. - 5 new localization keys across 8 languages.
