verses where classical commentators disagree, a brand new Nastaliq script option, and a completely redesigned Word Study popup.
ALL 114 SURAHS NOW COVERED
Every verse in the Quran now ships with its full iraab explanation and one or more sentence-level dependency graphs. Tap any verse to see the sentence structure laid out as a
labeled treebank: nominal sentences, verbal sentences, idafa constructions, inna and kana clauses, relative clauses, prepositional phrases, and the rest of the classical iraab
vocabulary, all rendered in color-coded arcs over the original Arabic.
V1 AND V2 DUAL-READING CHARTS
Where classical commentators (Tafsir al-Kashshaf, al-Bahr al-Muhit, Iraab al-Quran al-Karim, and others) record more than one defensible parsing, the graph viewer now shows both
readings side by side with a V1 and V2 pill badge. Tap-through arc labels, scholarly attributions, and beginner notes appear on each variant.
WORD STUDY POPUP REDESIGNED
- New skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, with a quick-switch picker at the top of the popup.
- Paradigm grids for perfect, imperfect, imperative, active participle, passive participle, and verbal noun auto-collapse at Advanced level so experienced readers see the lemma
and grammar terms only.
- Tap any column of the morphology breakdown table to jump straight to that specific word segment Word Study.
- Past, imperfect, and imperative verb conjugation tables are now fully populated.
- Demonstrative lemma display fixed (ulaika now shown correctly at 56:11:1).
- Inline grammar-term taps open the bilingual Grammar Reference popup directly.
READER ZOOM AND FONT CONTROLS
- New Nastaliq Arabic typeface option (South-Asian calligraphic style) joins Uthmani (Medina Mushaf) and Naskh (modern). Pickable in Settings.

We have added 1,553 new dependency tree diagrams across these four surahs. Every verse of Tawba, Yunus, Hud, and Yusuf now opens its own visual map showing how the words connect:
• Color-coded POS badges: V (verb) green, N (noun) blue, P (particle) red, plus PRON, REL, DEM, EMPH, CERT, COND
• Per-word column above each graph with location, transliteration, and English translation, synced with the Word Analysis panel
• English label overlay (Label/EN button) to tap any graph label and open the term popup
• Improved Arabic rendering using SFArabic for accurate shaping at all zoom levels
• Pinch-to-zoom, horizontal scrolling for long verses, and full dark mode support
Hand-Authored Grammar Explanations
Every verse of surahs 1-12 and 59-114 now includes a full irab overview written in classical Arabic grammar terminology with clear English explanations:
• Surahs 11 (Hud) and 12 (Yusuf): all verses newly authored in this release
• Surahs 10-11 enhanced with cross-references, variant readings, and rhetorical insights
