What’s New Version 2.1

Improved Local Processing

Description

Your Snapchat memories are stuck in a broken export. Wrong dates, empty maps, captions showing as black squares. ExportSnaps fixes all of it and saves everything directly to iPhone Photos. One tap. Every memory in the right place. YOUR PHOTOS ARE OUT OF ORDER When you export Snapchat memories and import them to Photos, every photo lands under today's date. A trip from 2019 shows up this week. Three years of memories buried under a single day. That happens because Snapchat strips the original date from every file. The date still exists -- it is in your export's JSON file -- but it never gets written into the photo itself. ExportSnaps reads that JSON and writes the correct date into every file before it saves to your library. YOUR MAP IS EMPTY Snapchat records your location for every memory you take with GPS enabled. But it stores those coordinates in a separate file, not inside the photo. iPhone Photos reads location from the photo itself. So your map stays empty even though the data is there. ExportSnaps reads the GPS coordinates from your export and writes them into each file. After processing, every location-tagged memory shows up as a pin on your Photos map. YOUR CAPTIONS AND FILTERS ARE SPLIT Snapchat exports location geofilters, captions, and stickers as separate files -- a base photo or video and a transparent overlay PNG. When Photos imports that overlay, it renders as a black square with floating text. ExportSnaps detects every overlay file, composites it back onto the base media, and saves one clean merged file per memory. No black squares. No split pairs. BULK SAVE TO PHOTOS ExportSnaps saves directly to your iPhone Photos library. No manual saving, no file transfers, no selecting one photo at a time. Load your export, configure your settings, tap Start. Every memory saves automatically. Tested on libraries up to 1,163 GB and 64,790 files. 100% PRIVATE Every file is processed on your device. Your photos never leave your iPhone. No uploads, no cloud processing, no account required.
