Introducing Wishlists Save up to 5 dream destinations and turn them into real journeys. A place starts on your wishlist, becomes an upcoming trip once you book it, and lands in your past trips with your photos. Tap any wishlist spot on your map to see which friends have already been there. Everything for a trip in one place Open a trip and manage it all from the top right menu. Edit, delete, invite friends, and control who can add photos. Open an outing as you create it Invite nearby friends to join an outing right from the event screen, without saving it first. SoKal now speaks your language — 7 of them. We've added Polish, Croatian, Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese, and the app opens in your device's language automatically. Prefer another? Switch anytime from the top of your Profile. See what's new in your Network feed at a glance — the latest from your people surfaces right at the top, so you catch what's new without scrolling.

Likes have arrived Tap the heart to like any photo in a photo dump — complete with a satisfying little animation. Like right from the photo viewer, the feed, or your own dumps. See likes and views at a glance, now shown cleanly beneath each trip and photo. Plus speed and polish across the photo dump experience.

A redesigned Network tab Your feed got a fresh look, every plan now lives on a clean, rounded card with a colorful timeline running down the side. Bigger day headers make it easier to scan your week. Trips you can see at a glance Travel plans now show a little map of the destination. Your friend's state or country with the city pinned right on it (and a gentle pulse so it pops). We also got a lot smarter about flights: clearer destinations, a friendly "Coming home from…" for return trips, and far fewer mix-ups. Find your people A reworked Friends tab with a cleaner search, connection requests you can Accept or Decline right from the list, and a People you may know row built from your mutual friends are now in your feed and on the Friends page. Plus polish, smoother animations, and a handful of fixes throughout.

Photo dumps — easier to manage - Photo dumps took a big step forward. Managing your photos in a dump is smoother end-to-end, with cleaner uploader grouping and a re-tuned access/invite flow. Tap a contributor's name on a dump to view their profile or jump straight to all their photo dumps — and the same shortcut is now available from the profile preview sheet too. Network feed — more travel surfaces - An upcoming travel row, so you can see what's coming up in your friends' calendars at a glance. - A travel inspo row to surface trips and destinations worth borrowing. Bug fixes - Contacts permission no longer re-prompts users who have already granted access. - Help modals stop re-appearing once they've been seen.

Photo dumps • Edit or delete any photo you've added to a dump. • Drag and drop to reorder photos. • View all of someone's photo dumps from their profile. • Cleaner photo grid — 3 columns spaced the way the Photos app does it. • Set a cover photo or tap Manage access and your dump is created automatically — no extra step. • Smoother UI while photos upload. Fixes • Photo count was one short when viewing a dump you weren't a member of. • Trying to create a photo dump on a trip without dates now explains why instead of silently failing. • Synced calendar events are no longer treated as trips eligible for photo dumps — they were never quite the right fit. Under the hood • Crash reporting added so we can spot issues faster.

Add it right from the screen. • Smarter discovery: matches by 50-mile radius instead of exact city name, so neighbors and nearby suburbs show up too. • Profile screen rebuilt — name overlaid on your photo, phone number with verified status, and the camera icon pulses if you haven't uploaded a photo yet. • Streamlined onboarding: Welcome → Contacts, that's it. Calendar connection now lives on the calendar itself, with an animated month-grid prompt the first time you land there. • "Verify your phone number" card on the Network tab got a marketing animation showing what notifications look like, and a chevron to collapse it down when you want it out of the way. • First-trip celebration: real confetti when you log your first travel destination. • Quick haptic when you add a trip — feels like "saved." • Photo-having profiles now show first in every list — search, connections, mutual friends, suggestions.

Find friends from your contacts SoKal can now match your contacts with people already on the app. You'll see a "People you know" card on your Network tab — connect with them in one tap. Get notified when contacts join When someone in your contacts joins SoKal, you'll get a push notification so you can connect right away. Big one. You can now invite friends directly from SoKal — no copying links, no group texts, no awkward "did you see my message?" follow-ups. Select contacts from your phone, tap done, and we send the text for you. They get a link, tap RSVP or decline, done. You can see exactly who's in, who's out, and who hasn't responded yet — all from the event page. We also cleaned up the invite flow inside the event form so it's harder to miss. Because getting your people together is kind of the whole point.
