What’s New Version 1.6.009
Apple Watch App — Flex is now on your wrist. The Watch app installs automatically alongside the iPhone app. The dashboard shows your recovery score, hydration, heart rate, and active calories synced from your phone. Pick any plan from your Watch, log sets on your wrist, and everything syncs back when you're done. You can also start a run, walk, ride, hike, or row directly from the Watch — it tracks heart rate, GPS distance, and calories through Apple HealthKit and saves to Health automatically when you finish.
Nutrition Tracking — Log meals, scan barcodes, and track macros and calories alongside your training. Daily targets are calculated automatically based on your weight, goal, and activity level, and calories burned from workouts count toward your balance. Save favorites, build recipes, and log them as a single item. Every food gets a 0–100 nutrition quality score based on its macros and ingredients, with additive E-numbers flagged by risk level so you know exactly what you're eating.
Dietary Restrictions — Set your dietary profile in Settings and foods that conflict with it are flagged automatically when you browse or scan.
Oura Ring Integration — Connect your Oura account from the Integrations screen and your daily readiness score flows into the home screen recovery card and Watch dashboard.
Superset Support — Group any two exercises into a superset and Flex auto-advances between them during your workout.
Workout Import — Take a photo of any training program and Flex parses the exercises, sets, and reps directly into your plan.
Custom Exercises — Create exercises that aren't in the library, log them, and track them like anything else.
AI Coach Improvements — The Coach tab now opens with a morning briefing summarizing today's plan and recovery context. Workout swap suggestions show as visual diff cards so you can see old vs. new at a glance.

GPS Cardio — Track runs, rides, and outdoor sessions with real-time pace, distance, and heart rate. A privacy zone masks your start location on shared maps so your home stays off the record.
Live Activities — Your workout or run now lives on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island the whole time. See your current exercise, rest timer, sets progress, or pace and distance without unlocking your phone.
Autopilot Progression Fix — Autopilot was showing the right next weight in your post-workout summary but not actually loading it the following session. Fixed — your next workout now opens at the weight Autopilot calculated, not the weight you lifted last time.
Progressive Warm-Up Loading — When Autopilot loads your working weight, the first set now starts at 0 so you can ramp up however you want. Working sets load at the target weight.
Muscle Balance Chart — A new radar chart on the Progress tab shows which muscle groups you've trained over the last 30 days, so you can spot gaps before they become imbalances.
Custom Exercises — Added an exercise that's not in the library? Create it, log it, and track it like anything else.

Supersets — Chain exercises together in the workout builder or editor. Flex auto-advances between exercises in the group during your workout and only starts the rest timer after the last one is done.
Feedback & Requests — A new Community section in Settings lets you submit feature requests, bug reports, and exercise requests directly from the app. You're automatically signed in with your Flex account.
Profile Redesign — The Profile tab has been replaced with a cleaner account flow. Tap your avatar on the home screen to access your profile, appearance settings, and account management.
App Icon Switching — Switching between alternate app icons now works correctly on iOS. Fixed an issue where the selected icon wasn't registering or displaying properly.
Resting Heart Rate — Apple Watch resting heart rate is now read as a separate HealthKit type, fixing missing data for users whose resting HR wasn't syncing.
Workout Editor Improvements — The Edit Workout screen now uses the same add-exercise flow as the builder, with search, filters, and exercise previews. Edits to sets and reps are now staged until you hit Save.
