GPX Import — Bring your drive history from other apps into The Long Way. Tap Import GPX in the My Drives tab, pick your file, and your trips appear in your list with start and end locations already filled in.
Heading-Aware Routing — When you're moving above 10 mph (16 km/h), routes are now calculated based on the direction you're already traveling. Less turning around, more driving. Any route that starts with a U-turn is clearly labeled so you can decide for yourself.
Smarter "Best" Badge — The Best badge now only appears when the top route genuinely stands out. If two routes are close in score, neither gets the label — they're shown as equals.
Bug fixes, faster launch, and general performance improvements.

Smarter Navigation Checkpoints
Checkpoint waypoints now snap to real road intersections and turn points instead of arbitrary spots along the route, making handoff to Apple Maps and Google Maps more accurate.
Your Roads
Your Roads is a new map layer (available to premium members) that traces every road you've ever driven in the app, painted onto the map so you can see your coverage over time.
Trip Photos
Photos from your drives now display correctly — tap any photo to open a full-screen gallery view. Swipe between photos, or use the arrows to navigate. Delete photos directly from the gallery.
