What’s New Version 1.2.0

What's New in 1.2.0 — paste into App Store Connect • More accurate restaurant details — we removed placeholder info, so you only see real data for each place. • Smoother location access — the app now asks for your location only when you use a nearby feature, not at launch. • Sharper, more consistent dish images across the app. • For restaurant owners & admins: accurate dashboard totals, a redesigned Menu Images manager (set a default image per dish, edit or remove it), and a fixed search in the restaurants list. • Reliability and security improvements, including a more secure sign-in. The fuller changelog (diner-facing / admin-merchant / security) is in the RELEASE_NOTES.md file for your reference. Notes: - Since you're submitting under com.company.spicebite and 1.1.0 may already be in review, 1.2.0 / build 3 is a clean new version to archive. If App Store Connect rejects the version (e.g. it wants a higher build under the same version), tell me and I'll adjust the build number. - This is, of course, uncommitted along with all the other iOS/web work. Want me to commit everything now (version bump + release notes + all the feature changes) so your archive is reproducible? I'd recommend it before you create the App Store build.

Build 882629065v1.1.02026-02-21 01:17:00
Production-ready API setup iOS now uses an environment-based API configuration (dev/staging/prod) and talks to the backend API → production DB in Release builds. More reliable Dishes page Fixed dish decoding so it won’t silently fail when the API returns null fields. Added fallbacks so dishes can still appear even if the /dishes endpoint is empty or you’re offline. Faster app relaunch Restaurants and dishes are now cached locally, so data shows up immediately after reopening the app. Auto refresh when returning to the app The app refreshes restaurants + dishes when it becomes active again (no need to manually refresh after closing). Cleaner, more professional Profile screen Profile is now a native iOS Settings-style layout. Developer/admin/testing controls are hidden in normal builds. UI polish Collections cards now keep consistent sizing when images load (no awkward empty space).
