Blackcab.com is a London black cab hailing app that connects passengers directly with licensed taxi drivers. Built to follow Transport for London (TfL) guidelines, it offers a clear and compliant way to book a real black cab.
The app works exclusively with licensed London taxis that meet TfL standards for safety, accessibility, and regulated metered fares. All drivers are licensed, insured, and trained through The Knowledge, giving passengers expert local route knowledge and professional service.
Blackcab.com uses simple, transparent pricing: no surge, no commission on fares, and no added technology fees. The regulated meter applies as normal, giving passengers predictable costs and drivers fair earnings.
This is the first iteration of the app, with regular updates planned to expand features while maintaining full TfL compliance.
