What’s New in Velio Shared activities, made simple When someone sends you an activity link, it now opens straight in Velio. View photos, time, location, and what the meetup is about — no account needed to take a look. Try Velio before you download (iOS App Clip) On supported iPhones, you can open Velio from a link or QR code without installing the full app first. Browse activities on a map near you, tap one for details, and install Velio only when you want to join or message the group. Under the hood We’ve improved link handling and iOS compatibility so shared activities and App Clip experiences load more reliably.

A new smart home banner system with more visual, actionable prompts like viewing matches, completing your profile, joining plans, finding nearby travelers, uploading memories, rating experiences, creating travel groups, continuing itineraries, and hosting meetups. Onboarding got smoother with fixes to social auth/profile loading, phone country code handling, destination selection, location/vibe flow, and post-onboarding community navigation. Activity discovery and booking improved with standalone join-and-pay flows, payment/checkout work, nearby activity flow fixes, better booking success UX, and links back to communities. Creator tooling expanded a lot: drafts, edit/delete activity flows, adding activities to itineraries, itinerary placeholders, creator hub/community improvements, media/date filters, autosave, and creator application/badge work. General polish included loading skeletons on home/nearby sections, better button touch targets, pull-to-refresh fixes, cleaner control sizing, deep-linking updates, and assorted UI/stability fixes.

Travel groups — Create travel groups, invite people, and accept invites so you can plan trips together in the app. Activities — Pick date and time when publishing an activity, with smoother location handling so “what’s happening” is easier to set up. Onboarding & sign-in — Clearer phone verification (OTP) experience, more reliable resume-after-interrupt behavior, and steadier step-to-step routing. We’ve also tightened when we ask for notification permission and improved OTP timing and limits to reduce spam and confusion. Phone numbers — Better handling of numbers that start with a leading zero so verification works more consistently. Buttons & loading — Primary actions now use a consistent button with a clear loading state across onboarding, profile, communities, and related screens. Profile & discovery — Updates to the vibe / onboarding flow, profile step copy, empty states with clearer next steps, and smarter profile caching for a snappier feel. Behind the scenes — Staging vs production deep links are separated for safer builds; assorted UI polish, navigation, and small bug fixes (contacts, follow behavior, settings).
