Push Notifications :
The app will ask for permission when the user installs the application, and if the user accepts that they will get push notifications for functions which are listed below.
Push notifications will only get pushed when the app is closed or when the app is in the background. If you are using the app, then push notifications will not get sent.
Users can also change the push notifications preferences if they want to. How? The user can go to the account settings option in the profile menu and then select notifications. Over there, users can select which functions they want push notifications to work for and for which functions they want to switch them off. The user can switch it off for all functions as well.
For which functionality can you get push notifications functionality
1. Follow -> when the user gets new followers in The Coaches Site
2. Post Likes -> when another user likes the post which was posted by the current user
3. Post Comments -> when another user leaves comments on the post which was posted by the current user
4. Post Shares -> when any post on The Coaches Site gets shared with you
5. Group Invitations -> when you will get invited to new groups.
6. Content Added To Group Locker -> when new content is saved to your group locker
How to turn all notifications off?
In the notification under account settings, you will find an option to turn off all notifications, which will turn off all email as well as all push notifications. And the user can turn that on by selecting each checkbox again if they want to start receiving those again.
