More accurate store prices — Item prices, options, and offers now always match the store you're browsing. Stability & polish — Various bug fixes and performance improvements across the app.

We have a new name. Thumo is now Swoop. As we expand our mission to connect you with the best local vendors across Africa, we wanted a name that matches where we're headed. Same team, same reliable delivery, now built for the continent. Along with the new name, this is our biggest update yet. We've completely redesigned the app to make ordering from your favourite local restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies faster and more enjoyable. A FRESH NEW LOOK The entire app has been rebuilt with a new brand identity, a cleaner interface, and more intuitive navigation. Screens load faster and every flow from browsing to checkout has been streamlined. If you've used us before, you'll notice the difference immediately. FASTER DISCOVERY The home screen now surfaces stores and meals you'll love through curated collections like top-rated, lowest delivery fee, and nearby favourites. Store cards show ratings, distance, estimated delivery time, and fees at a glance so you spend less time deciding and more time eating. An improved search helps you find exactly what you're looking for across stores and products. SMOOTHER CHECKOUT We reduced the number of taps it takes to go from your cart to a confirmed order. Your delivery address is clearly displayed with the option to edit or select from saved locations. You can now add notes to your order. SWOOP WALLET A brand new in-app wallet lets you store funds and pay instantly at checkout. Fund your wallet via bank transfer, mobile money or with a debit card. If your balance is short at checkout, a quick top-up flow lets you add funds without losing your cart. REAL-TIME ORDER TRACKING Follow your order through every stage with a visual progress tracker that updates automatically. See when the store accepts your order, when your rider is assigned, when they've picked up your food, and when they're arriving. Every delivery is secured with a 4-digit PIN to confirm handoff. IMPROVED PAYMENTS Bank transfer remains front and centre with one-tap copy for account details and faster confirmation. Card payments are smoother with fewer redirects. Applied coupons and discounts now show clearly in your order summary before you confirm. BETTER STORE PAGES Store pages now organise products into scrollable categories so you can jump directly to what you need. Out-of-stock items are clearly marked and moved to the bottom so they don't get in your way. The plate builder for local restaurants has been refined with a cleaner portion selection interface and dynamic price updates as you customise your meal. SAVED ADDRESSES Save up to five delivery addresses with labels like Home or Work and select them instantly at checkout. Recent addresses are also remembered during your session even if you don't save them. IN-APP SUPPORT Get help without leaving the app. Submit a support request with your order details automatically attached, track your ticket status, or browse frequently asked questions for quick answers.
