What’s New in Version 2.1.7 Offline maps now feel much smoother, with improved pinch-to-zoom and panning so exploring the islands is more stable and responsive. We’ve also improved map points of interest with clearer popups, image previews where available, selected-marker indicators, and easier tap-to-dismiss behaviour. Event and activity detail pages now show loading skeletons, making pages feel quicker and more polished while content loads. Also includes smaller fixes and refinements across maps, popups, and detail screens.

Improved the home screen’s upcoming events section to show the next relevant future or ongoing events. Refreshed event data used by event details and map pins. Updated accessibility text spacing for more in depth information

Revamped the map controls and added manual toggle for live/offline maps. Added ease of use guestures to image galleries, including smooth panning and swipe down to dismiss.

Fixed a bug stopping the tide preview card on the home screen from updating correctly.

Bug fixes and improvements. Offline mapping and image saving is now much more reliable. Cleaned up caching options in settings, updated onboarding to allow users to cache on first use. Fixed bug with date pickers flickering when changing dates. Added back buttons to onboarding. Fixed bug with other audio pausing when opening the app.

Major app rewrite! Performance should be hugely improved!
